Prepare request for quotation ( RFQ’s ) from suppliers and existing freight
forwarders.
● Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for contract renewals,
termination, and novations.
● Source potential suppliers and logistics service providers, and evaluate their
profiles to ensure their credibility and reliability.
● Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual (Costs ) reports (Product cost, shipments cost,
customs clearing cost).
● Reviewing and handling supplier invoices, and government customs for accuracy,
and issuing payment authorization.
● Ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner, and the quality of the goods
received is satisfactory.
● Generate the achievement of cost savings to reduce operating expenses according
to the annual target.
● Communicate with warehouse on all issues relating to the delivery, and monitoring
the number of deliveries received/managed within the delivery window
Responsible for the daily supply chain activities including:
○ Purchase order ( PO ) creation and maintenance.
○ Request for quotation ( RFQ ).
○ Pricing negotiations.
○ Supplier relationship management.
○ Reporting
● Actively assisting with international supplier communications, and generate
process and procedure documents for critical supply chain functions
● Prepare essential documentation for Freight Forwarders and Customs Broker.
● Conduct sourcing activities in a professional manner seeking quotations &
proposals to fulfill the company's needs.
● Support in generating appropriate analyses such as spend reports.
● SAP Enterprise Software Program Training Certification ( Western Michigan University ) ● Six Sigma Green Belt Certification ( Western Michigan University )
