As an Architecture in Construction of Family Entertainment Center - Virtucity Park @ Doha Festival City, Qatar, responsible for execution of work on site in compliance with approved project drawings and specifications to meet the industry quality standards. Organize and facilitate progress and technical meetings to manage project KPIs. Monitor and notify defective works and ensure rectification works for achieving quality.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with interior and landscape design drawings.
-Prepare the sanitary ware specifications and coordinate with suppliers to select the appropriate model that suits the project with taking into consideration any special requirements, also updating the detailed design drawing as per the selected sanitary ware items.
- Review the acoustic requirements for the glazing, doors, interior walls, and partitions as well as providing special requirements for specific spaces.
Work with the master planning team and urban designers to coordinate urban design guidelines and planning regulation preparation of planning studies and urban plans and the preparation of architectural, structural and general plans for cities, urban communities and villages Preparing and presenting landscape designs to clients and approving agencies including specific technical expertise in land use planning, landscape architecture and urban design.
Liaising with government departments and other agencies to obtain and verify design standards and criteria, and to secure requisite approvals. Providing guidance to other designers, technicians and CAD operation in the performance of their duties.Ability to solve problems using the appropriate GIS approaches and tools.
• Preparing Conceptual Drawing, Sketches, Designing, Working Drawing, Sections, Detailing, Furniture Layout, Presentation.
• Submit drawings for approval by a construction inspector to ensure that the design meets building codes.
• Draw up floor plans and sketches.
• Coordinate materials and product with specification writer.
• Follow up with client to ensure design specifications have been met.
• supervising the areas of support services of the ministry, issuing their building permits, and coordinating with the competent authorities on public utilities for the necessary services required to them.
• Supervising and Preparing the public parking for vehicles of various kinds, and public transport vehicles, proposing the installation of counters in public parkingand supervising them.
