-Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases
-Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
-Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
-Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
-Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
-Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
-Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies
-Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
-Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies
-Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
-Working with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed
-Purchasing the English books from multiple publishers and distributors, shipping them and following up remotely with the operations department in London (the main source).
-Solving the problems of any missing, delayed or damaged shipments.
-Representing the company in local & international book fairs, and preparing the related reports.
-Shopping online services as a shop and ship team member.
-Handling customer orders and payments.
- Provide excellent customer service for customers in line with Aramex standards.
-Handle all GCS team’s cases, follow up and close all requests On Time.
-Respond promptly to customer inquiries, solve their problems and escalate when necessary.
-Following up on the customer cases and constantly updating them.
-Ensure following up with operations for any special customer needs or to resolve any problematic
issues.
-Ensure building a strong relationship with the customer.
-Respond to customer inquiries and provide full information, accurate updates and
recommendations on time.
-Close pending cases in a timely manner.
-Follow up on problematic customers cases (delayed/ misrouted shipments) and make sure they are
resolved properly.
-Prepare products for shipment and check them to make sure they meet specifications.
-Manage online customer accounts.
-Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
-Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
-Advises customers by providing information on products.
-Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
-Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
-Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
-Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of
potential interest.
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
