Analyze and evaluate information and business process requirements to translate user requirements into functional ones through “Software Requirements Specification” document.
•Provide practical solutions in consistence with the overall business operating model(s) and in compliance with quality standards and technical requirements to meet the business needs.
•Provide support and assistance to the development team clarifying functional requirements
•Coordinate with the testing team to assure the compliance of system with the business requirements and implementation of final solutions within the constraints of the Business Case in terms of quality, functionality and ease of use.
•Participate in user acceptance and oversee all system development life cycle activities to reach successful customer delivery.
•Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
•Create flowcharts and swim lanes diagrams for better understanding of existing or new features.
•Assist product owner in prioritizing new requirements.
Review manuscripts with “Publish Unaltered” status and approve them for acceptance if they meet our quality standards.
•Check manuscripts against the Editorial Screening checklist and identify non-detected concerns .
•Ensure that the Editorial Assistants have taken proper action regarding the concerns
previously issued by the Editorial Screening Team.
•Check the review process to ensure that there are no oversights.
•Revise all communications related to manuscripts to ensure that any raised concerns
were dealt with adequately.
•Check special issues to make sure that they are no violations, or ethical concerns.
•Communicate omissions (if any) to editorial staff and follow up with them until their
resolving.
•Reject manuscripts that do not qualify acceptance after obtaining the approval of
Editorial Quality Assurance Team Leader.
•Handle investigations of post publication claims and tasks assigned by Editorial Quality Assurance Team Leader.
•Anticipate quality or publication ethics risks and escalate them to Editorial Quality
Assurance Team Leader.
•Suspend production/publication process of papers with updates needed after
Acceptance and follow up on them until released in a timely manner.
