The Saqqara Site Management Project is about enhancing the value, significance and attraction of the
Saqqara archaeological site and its vicinity as a reference destination for both national and international visitors. Increased revenue following project implementation will both allow for the site's
conservation in harmony with its natural and human environments and increase the capacity of the
(SCA) to formulate, implement and administer site management and visitation plans. It will provide
high quality site management tools, facilities and interpretation panels that will add value to the actions of the French missions and the SCA on the site.
Saqqara archaeological site and visitation plans

(April 2012- November 2012) Urban Acupuncture Project for Cairo's Zabbaleen Garbage collector community

Urban Acupuncture project for Cairo's Zabbaleen Garbage collectors community
Develop the community of Zabaleen Garbage Collectors and to turn it into a normal community and a new eco model. EQI is participating in the implementation of the design and the urban planning for
this area.
The project consisted of building a lighting system for the main road in the district powered by solar
energy. The lighting fixtures were built by locals using recycled materials produced from the area in co-operation with local NGOs.

(2011) Restoration of the Old Mosque of Shali (siwa)

The Old Mosque Located in the middle of shali city, it is the landmark for shali city, The Old Minaret
had lots of serious cracks and the minaret begins to separate from the body of the mosque, Our task
was to make restoration for the old mosque and the minaret.

The design reflected the Egyptian cultural characteristics in the different buildings and was considered as the extension of Hassan Fathy architecture of his old village.
Participated in the design of a village grouping several small hotels, restaurants, expositions,

Darb El Labannah is a historical area located in Old Cairo behind the Old Cairo citadel, that area
contains a high density of historical monuments. Aim of the initiative is to revitalize Darb El Labbanah with a series of urban upgrade and environmental improvement interventions that will improve the quality of life of the local residents and help the build historical Cairo's local economy. The initiative is
designed to turn Darb el Labannah into a living laboratory to serve as an inspiration for architects,
planners and artists, and to house buildings like different hotels, restaurants, cultural canter
