perform the various tasks required for receiving, processing, and preparing patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis by the Pathologists. This includes receiving the patient's sample with the proper patient's identification techniques, accessioning (Logging), grossing, processing, embedding, cutting, mounting, frozen section, manual Immunohistochemistry staining, and other special staining procedures. In addition to some molecular and cytogenetic studies (FISH technique). Also coordinating daily workflow of tasks and activities in the surgical pathology area with regard to routine procedures, special procedures, and the surgery schedule and assisting in the supervision of these activities within the Surgical Pathology and Histology areas of the Laboratory.
Applying all routine and specialized tests among all laboratory divisions including bacteriology, hematology, biochemistry, parasitology, serology and phlebotomy & making sure that all the laboratory tests are done based on quality controls that are done on a daily manner to ensure the validity of our work.
The score of my official exam ( first session) was 13.5 certificates: Red Cross
