* IOM as a shelter focal point responsibilities:
1. Support the Shelter and Settlement National Programme
Officer and National Office for RART and Emergency Response for
the Central Iraq on the planning and execution of all phases of
Shelter projects from initial planning and design, to implementation
and follow up;
2. In coordination with RART team, complete different
assessments to support the of the implementation of the emergency
shelter and settlement programing;
3. Support the RART team for the distribution of tents, sealing off
kits, prefab and other emergency items;
4. Liaise and attend relevant meetings with IOM counterparts,
government authorities at Governorate and District level, INGOs and
local NGOs, as requested; inform IOM counterparts of all relevant
information that could impact their respective program area;
5. Coordinate and liaise with NFI unit and procurement unit to
ensure the timely delivery of goods and services for the programme
in the field.
6. Coordinate with community stakeholders to identify deliver point
(safe space) for emergency items distribution;
7. Implementing effective supervision monitoring of the projects to
ensure that projects scope, condition of contract in the agreement to
fullest extent;
8. Coordinate closely with RART, CRP and other units of mission to
seek opportunities for complementary activities;
9. Attend regular coordination meetings with service providers,
on-site relevant staff; ensure understanding of required construction,
production and compliance; coordinate with the national service
contractor attached to the project to ensure satisfactory delivery of
contracted service;
10. Attend the regular meetings with Head of Satellite Officer,
Senior Program Assistants and when required the National
programme Officer and project manager;
11. Any other activities as assigned.
* Supervising Sanitation works with SAYA contracting company, besides
translating projects, and different admin works.
* Supervising a cafeteria in north Oil Company.
* Working as an engineer in Dalo Group Company.
Duties included: (tendering, drawing by auto cad, construction cost estimation
and translation the projects)
* An employee in Municipality of Kirkuk including:-
 Arranging files and daily recording.
 Execution and follow-up Sewage works, paving works and paving with
B.R.toon in the street of Haseeraka area in front of Kirkuk citadel.
 Train the staff.
 Supervising the building and fencing of gardens.
 Survey and numbering buildings and houses of non-legal territory and data
entry.
 Survey and the settlement of land located on the road to Kirkuk -
Sulaymaniyah (Directorate of Traffic in Kirkuk).
 Follow-up the paving of the streets and pavements in Kirkuk - Sulaymaniyah
road.
 Tendering and Final cost estimation and engineering drawing plans of
retaining walls, foundations, buildings and roads.
 Supervising cleaning companies and writing reports.
 Supervising the distribution of cleaning materials.
 Beside different admin works.
