Duties & Responsibilities:
(chairman of environmental safety committee, Co chairman of internal disaster, FMS Chapter leader, Quality council member).
• Develop policies and procedures manual for the safety department and revises, as necessary . Ensure that the areas comply with hospital policies and JCI requirements .
• Prepare a periodic reports of the performance of the section and employees to improve performance and achieve goals .
• Coordinates with department heads to discuss issues related to safety and for the implementation of safety policies and procedures.
• Facilitates accident/incident/injury investigation reports in case of occurrence.
• Liaises with governmental agencies (Civil Defense, Red Crescent and other MOH Hospital) and other governing bodies and participates in discussions regarding safety.
• Secure safety directives from pertinent governmental institutions and initiates the implementation in KSMC.
• Other activities required by Asst. CEO for Engineering Affairs
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identify and anticipate safety and health concerns and hazards by surveying environmental,
Operational, and occupational conditions and render opinions on new procedures and recommend preventative programs .
• Conduct safety inspections and investigate violations to ensure safety procedures are being
followed.
• Maintain worker training schedules and complete all required regulatory documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Promote health and safety within the organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working. Application of programs to remove the hazards from the work place and to correct unsafe work practices.
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to make sure they meet safety regulations.
• Make sure that personal protective equipment is being used in workplaces according to regulations.
• Make sure that dangerous materials are correctly stored.
• Identify and test work areas for potential accident and health hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
• Help supervise the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and recommend remedial action.
• Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices and legislation.
• Coordinate emergency procedures.
• Communicate frequently with management to report on the status of the health and safety program.
• Recommends or demands necessary action or procedural changes to correct areas not in compliance with regulations.
