Initiates, reviews, approves and maintains, as applicable, quality control procedures, inspection testing procedures and plans.
Acts as liaison between the client, the engineering project team, construction team and the QC team for the establishing and coordination of inspection activities.
Manages all quality control staff and activities ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, to the required quality standards and within prescribed timeframes. Includes allocation and mobilization of resources and monitoring of usage.
Provides input for the development of budget projections at the estimation stage.
Monitors project usage against allocated budget to ensure activities are properly supported and to justify variations.
Attends site meetings with client as the Company representative on all matters relating to quality control.
Establishes a non-conformance system for identification, control and rectification of all non-conforming material and work.
Establishes the system for collection indexing and filing of the QC records required for certification.
Identifies development and training needs within the department and make recommendations for appropriate programs.

Job Description:
Meet engineer project team and client to resolve technical issues.
In charge of correspondences with client, engineer and subcontractors.
Manage all quality control activities ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, to the required quality standards and within prescribed timeframes.
Coordinate with section heads on the daily inspection requirements and ensure that the project team is following the latest approved documents.
Ensure that QC records are completed and that all inspection forms are properly filled and signed by all parties as defined in the inspection & test plans.
Interpret codes, standards and project specifications to clarify ambiguities and consolidate disparate elements to ensure contract requirements are met.
Liaise with internal and external concerned parties to coordinate presence at inspections and tests to be conducted.
Prepare regular section inspection activity report.
Assign and supervise the activities of QC Engineers/Inspectors.
Control/follow up stone piles installation activities onsite.
Review technical documents/Drawings and comment if any.

Ibn Hani Bay Resort Project; located 11 km north of the city of Lattakia in Syria and lies on 268, 000 m2 of prime seafront land on the Mediterranean Sea.
CCC’s scope includes two hotels, one prime luxurious hotel nestled in the curve of a rocky peninsula offering a stunning panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea. The other prestigious hotel will be allocated in the commercial area. In addition, there is a serviced apartments zone overlooking the public beaches, a marina, private beach and canal villas, five story multi-family residential buildings and waterfront berths.
Job Description:

1.Study the applicable drawings and specifications related to general civil works to identify project technical requirements and how these specific requirements will be met.
2.Technical clarification and review for documents of tenders in coordination with estimation team in the Managing Office Athens (MOA).
3.Prepare, in consultation with the project team, the method statements required for specialized construction activities in civil works scope. Interact with project, client or consultants to finalize the statements.
4.Identify and evaluate, under the guidance of the project team, potential sources of earthworks and concrete material and recommends locations / sources satisfying technical / financial requirements.
5.Coordinate material evaluation testing and prepare recommendations to project.
6.Initiate and review concrete design mixes applicable to project. Liaise with client/engineer to obtain approval of the design mixes.
7.Determine specific technical details of the concrete batching plant. Operates site based concrete batching plant to meet project requirements.
8.Investigate international market to identify new technical developments in concrete batch plant installations, civil construction and evaluate their potential application in the company's projects.
9.Perform experimental tests to evaluate new equipment, techniques and materials.
10.Working in the research and development in the field of civil construction related to materials.
11.Maintain a library of technical literature and standards covering all aspects of civil construction works including civil material.
12.Perform site studies/investigation and provide input/assistance to the head of technical studies with quarrying and rock works.
13.Extensive travelling to company’s projects in different countries to provide technical support to project team.
→Visited/worked temporarily in Company’s projects in: UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman & Syria.
1.prepare initial concept designs for discussion and development by superiors.
2.Play an active role in leading design development through to final concept design.
3.Perform analysis and detailed design of the structure (stresses arising in each part of the structure under the different loading conditions).
4.Prepare/review contract drawings to facilitate the construction of the structure.
5.Have input to issues such safety, implications of design assumptions, ease of construction, construction methods.
6.Commit with building codes, construction specifications and standards.
