Leading a procurement team of 5 members.
Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to enhance their
skills and performance.
Full responsibility for sourcing and purchasing steel materials: profiles, plates, angles,
rods, bolts, cladding, decking, purlins, consumables, coils, grating.
Supplier Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of
goods and services.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcomes for the
organization.
Procurement Processes:
Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with
company policies and regulations.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and
process improvements.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and
performance indicators.
Analyze procurement data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to mitigate them.

In 2022, I purchased 6500 tons from Indonesia, saving the company approximately 9
million. Study project drawings, specifications, and related documents.
Review the tenders proposal, technical, and financial documents.
Issue and process requisitions for quotations to sub-contractors/suppliers. Obtain quotations
from
local and international sub-contractors/suppliers.
Prepare submittals for theconsultants/clients approval in line with the selected vendor and as per
the department standards
Negotiate sub-contracts/POs terms with sub-contractors/suppliers
Prepare and process letters of intent, purchase orders, and sub-contracts for subcontractors/
suppliers
Analyze price
proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
Review catalogs, industry periodicals, directories, trade journals, and internet sites, and consult
with others to locate necessary procurement
services, materials, and requirements to improve the departments function and effectiveness.
Follow and respect the Departments policies, procedures, and objectives.
Attend meetings, conferences, conventions, and seminars necessary to network with others
involved in the procurement process.
(Consultants, contractors, suppliers, etc.) to improve the Procurement Departments function and
effectiveness.
Prepare both technical and financial comparisons for the Senior Engineer or Section Head for
review.
Assist in solving problems and escalating the unsolved problems to the Senior Procurement
Engineer for advice.
Negotiate with suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms, etc.
Update all engaged data regularly.
Follow up on all of the above responsibilities in conjunction with theSenior Engineer and/or
the Section.

Following and reviewing all the procurement activities and coordinating with related
departments
Coordination with the Financial Department for payment plans
Working on improving the department performance and the team members, and
confirming on sticking to the factory procedures
Participating in management meetings for material resourcing and project planning.
Working on different payment terms for material importing, especially the Letter of
Credit
Credit
Working on all the factory requirements: steel products (plates, sections, pipes,
bolts, grating, and formed sheets), painting material, galvanization & fabrication
subcontractors
Preparing supplier evaluation forms for supplier performance.

Responsible for car maintenance from the first maintenance of 1000 km to 60, 000 km Starting
including changing filters to changing drums, etc...
