- marassi Bay - Emaar properties

A residential project aims to provide luxurious 102 units, In addition to a community center and
utility structures. The design included ordinary composite columns, flat slabs, steel stairs, and
aluminum curtain walls.

- H9 address hotel - Emaar properties

A five-star hotel with a footprint of 17, 300 m2, in addition to 127 modular cabins that are made
of steel. The design included complex foundation constraints and time challenges.

• Check the safety and stability of the structures and ensure it satisfies code requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and provide structural advice for alternate solutions that comply with owner intentions.
• Review reinforcement workshop drawings, and give assistance to make them if needed.
• Prepare finite element models using ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE.
• Ensure documentation for design defects and inquiries by issuing RFIs, RFPs, and letters.
• Study grading and design retaining walls according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with the commercial department to claim any design changes.
• Resolved landscape levels conflicts, and Implemented the needed solutions.
• Varified the infrastructure composite drawings and provided structural options for the
sum-pit, chillers & generators footings and retaining walls design.

• Determined seismic load using the response spectrum method for buildings.
• Proposed structural systems for the static and dynamic loads for wind and seismic design.
• Developed finite element models for over 64 structures with various natures.
• Managed a team of four, assigned tasks, attended meetings with the project contractor and the
project operator, and assisted new team members.
• Accurately assigned parameters and solved models errors.
• Assigned to complex technical constraints such as high temperature and acoustic treatment and successfully solved them through research and development.
• Designed and successfully submitted mega liquid retaining (Air-tight) structures using
BS-8110 & Eurocode-8. Where I managed to reduce 35% of the project’s initial cost.
