The goal of my role was to ensure the correct establishment of a new factory for the manufacturing of stone products, my duites and achievements include:
1. Research, development and planning for the new factory
• Searching for and comparing CNC machines to fit the requirements of the factory
• Laying down the Schedule for the new factory project and following up with the progress
• Carrying out technical studies for:
◦ The electrical requirements
◦ compressed air requirements
◦ water treatment for the factory
• Planning the placement and installation of the new machines as well as other industrial utilities such as storage locations, gantry cranes, product transfer contraptions and the routes of fork lifts.
• Overseeing and directing the establishments of a new ODOO ERP system for the company
• Defining and enforcing new procedures for the inventory of the factory based on bar-coding and digital record keeping of components and product transformations
2. Maintenance
• Establishing correct preventive maintenance procedures and schedules for CNC machines according to manufacturers recommendations
• Communicating with service departments of manufacturers to solve complex problems
• Carrying out and managing all maintenance and repair demands for the factory
• Sourcing Spare and replacement parts and managing their usage.
Worked in maintenance and repair of industrial fryers, marinators, ovens and other restaurant equipment, both in the workshop and the field.
Duties:
• Ensuring high quality and long-lasting maintenance and repairs.
• Undertaking refurbishment and adjustments on machines to suit customer requirements.
• Stock and spare parts management, ensuring safe storing and min - maxing of spare parts usage.
• Communicating with customers in the field and following up with their requests.
• Installing, operating, and programming equipment, as well as training people on their operation.
• Record keeping of all operations undertaken by the company.
Worked in production of structural and architectural products like trusses, escape stairs, window guards, gates also worked in production of sheet metal products such as Fire rated steel doors and hose rack cabins, with both manual and CNC controlled machines.
Duties:
• Managing all projects undertaken by the factory
• Preparing production plans for requested Products and designs and training workers on the production procedures
• Following the progress of production and correcting any errors that may happen
• Writing formal documents such as price offers, manufacturing models, and datasheets.
• Occasionally working on repair and maintenance of machines
Freelance, certified by the ministry of Work. Worked on repair and maintenance of various electronics and devices including smartphones and laptops, also worked in refurbishing, and selling electronics.
