Indentifying suitable vendors/suppliers of raw material and general spares locally or abroad. Handle, verify and process Purchase Requisition in terms of procurement strategy, completeness of description/specifications, source of supply, feasibility of requirement including delivery date, estimated cost etc. Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions. In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules. Consults the approved suppliers lists to select the most efficient and reliable sources of material who can meet the demand as needed. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria were met according to the organizational requirements and expectation. Prepares comprehensive Request of Quotation (RFQ) documents complete with specifications, terms and conditions issue to suitable supplier/manufacturers. Evaluates supplier’s quotation, prepares price comparison and conducts necessary negotiations with suppliers as applicable. Prepares Purchase Orders using SAP, obtains approval according to delegated authority levels. Ensures that Purchase Orders are delivered, acknowledged, accepted by chosen vendor. Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead-time requirements. Handle, monitor and process CAPEX and operational expenses Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
