I worked in the insurance department under the Finance department, the main purpose of the Insurance Coordinator’s job is to properly administrate and follow-up on Rawabi Holding’s insurance coverage and provide important updates to the VP Finance, assesses risk exposure and the required coverage in coordination with appropriate Business unites / Corporate Head Office departments managers, Identifies in coordination with the Insurance Unit Head the suitable insurers, conducts negotiations with them, and secures the right insurance policy, supports the Insurance Unit Head in Assessing insurance contracts and monitors contract expiry dates, supports the Insurance Unit Head in the decision to renew or terminate of specific insurance contracts, reviews and controls insurance policy additions and asks for adjustments when needed, identifies the need to modify an insurance policy and informs the Insurance Unit Head, secures new policies and maintains and updates the existing organization insurance programs in coordination with the Insurance Unit Head in order to provide the most favorable coverage, cost, terms and claim settlements for all types of insurance, sets and validates Rawabi Holding’s insurance policies and procedures in coordination with the Insurance Unit Head (renewals, amendments, cancellations, insurance claims, record keeping, etc.).
