Assist Director of Marketing & Communications in the development and implementation of all marketing communications strategies and activities.
Coordinate and follow up with marketing-related agencies with reference to Zulal’s information that is required to be shared, monthly reports, and planning on future activities.
Coordinate and follow up with all the departments on their requirements.
Take responsibility for Zulal’s overall marketing communication materials.
I am in charge of marketing and e-commerce activities in all Retaj Hotels in Qatar(Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel, Vichy Celestins Spa Resort Retaj Salwa, Retaj Inn Marina at The Pearl, ..) and abroad (Retaj Moroni, Retaj Istanbul, ..), Preparing marketing, advertising, programs and annual budget;
Develop promotions, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management and communicating and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and colleagues.
Developing awareness and reputation of the brand in the local and international community
My responsibilities include:
liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations;
communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press or on the radio;
managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs;
writing and proofreading copy;
liaising with designers and printers;
organising photo shoots;
arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
maintaining and updating customer databases;
organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
sourcing and securing sponsorship;
conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups;
contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
managing budgets;
evaluating marketing campaigns;
monitoring competitor activity;
supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues.
