• As senior project manager, am responsible for design and development of telecom systems including:-
 GSM Project for coverage in entire FATA/Frontier Regions in Khyber Pakhtun Khwa province
 Implementation of OFC laying projects throughout Pakistan, for Office Automation System and Hospital Management System
 Formulation of Business Development plans to attract additional revenue streams

LMR (Land Mobile Radio) Communication
- Fielding of large inventory of Aselsan SDR VHF Radio equipment in complete KPK province including FATA/ Swat
- Conducted ground survey for assessment of communication problems and Network planning of newly inducted LMR system
- Established largest LMR Network in Pak Army (Approx 1000 radios)
- Planning / coordination of VHF frequency spectrum
- Repair/maintenance and programming of faulty equipment

FM Radio Stations (Radio Swat & Radio Waziristan)
- Established large number of FM Radio Stations (ranging 500-2500 Watts)
- Developed self-sustained containerized mobile FM Radio stations for expansion in the coverage area of media campaign
- Repair/maintenance of faulty equipment through fastest means possible to ensure least down-time in the broadcast

Network Management System (NMS) for HF Radios
- Established NMS at Peshawar for automated distribution of allocated HF Frequency spectrum through Radio Programming Application (RPA) software in complete KPK, FATA and Swat
- Cross-Border communication planning/coordination with NATO / ISAF

Peshawar Garrison Security Communication (Mobile/fixed)
- Fool proof Architectural layout of Garrison Security Force communication network
- Established fixed / mobile communication
- Technical support for smooth O&M of established communications

Special Projects
 Airborne FLIR Missions Ground Communication
Successfully established radio communication platform between airborne operational teams conducting FLIR (Forward Looking Infra Red) Missions flying at an altitude of 20, 000 ft and ground troops within 70 km radius
 Motorway Mobile Communication
Successful implementation of military mobile communication over extended ranges up to 170 Km through single repeater station
 VHF Radio Trials
Conducted extensive test/trials of commercially available range of VHF Antennas to evaluate best performance for improvement in operational communication

1992 - 2012
- Served in Pakistan Army at various command and staff appointments, while gaining valuable experience in terms of Project Management.
- A competent communicator and administrator with sufficient experience to handle wide variety of communication systems and insight of legal aspects at all levels with high success rate.
- Commanded and managed units comprising up to 1000 personnel, thus gaining a valuable man management experience of varied kinds
- Held operational appointments in various Headquarters, while working in the field as well as with higher echelons. Abundant exposure to working under diverse geographical terrains varying from the Frozen Frontiers (Siachin Glacier), FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas) to the length and breadth of Cholistan Desert

- As project manager, looked after the entire operations from its conception to implementation
- Data Centre was responsible to provide IT services to 12 cities, more than 200x user establishments with a user load exceeding 6500 users, through OFC, Microwave and WiMax connectivity
- As pioneer member, raised the new establishment including all its allied parameters required for its complete functionality:-
 Survey, preparation of line plans and supervision of deployment of Local Area Networking at all the user establishments
 Survey, planning and deployment of WiMax network for redundancy in connectivity
 Supervision till completion of all the civil works and technical infrastructure including setting up of NOC/Server room, installation of HVAC system, Fire Suppression System, Earthing arrangements, Standby power arrangements (500 KVA gensets) and CCTV sys
 Selection of manpower to formulate maintenance teams for OFC / Wimax NW, LAN at each user establishment, Help desk at Data Centre and perimeter security of the Data Centre.

• Significant achievements were:-
 Conception, Planning, Approval, Budgeting, Procurement and Monitoring of 14 mega projects of SCO which helped in enhancing the teledensity of the remote areas from 1.3 to 3.61
 Financial management of development budget to the tune of Rs 1 Billion per annum and working out Business Plans to enhance SCO’s revenue
 Interaction with
- Planning and Development Division of Pakistan for budget and project approval
- Ministry of IT and Telecom for technical evaluation of projects
- Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for regulatory and licensing issues
- Frequency Allocation Board for frequency management
- PTCL, NTC and Cellular Operators for interconnect agreements
- Telecom Industry for procurement and contracts
 Media and event management of SCO to include print and electronic media campaigns of SCO, publication of SCO calendars, magazines and supplements, organization of raising day, inaugural ceremonies and musical nights
