Planed, organized and co-ordinated events and manage sponsorships across the firm, to include special meetings, educational seminars, roadshows, networking events and corporate hospitality events.
Venue management, hiring of caterers and audio/visual equipment.
Prepared project plans and ensure deadlines are met by all parties involved in an event.
Ensured objectives are set at the planning stage and follow-up procedures are in place.
Communicated regularly with partners and BDMs in order to plan and co-ordinate their activities.
Ensured all event activity is recorded on InterAction pre and post-event and to regularly communicate this activity.
Agreed and managed a budget. Monitor and communicated budgeting and financial information, to both the sponsoring partner and the relevant BDM.
Sourced venues on an ongoing basis and assess their suitability.
Coordinated with suppliers, handling client enquiries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure all runs smoothly.
Prepared delegate packs / hand-outs.
Sourced relevant event materials (banners, stands etc) and pitch suggestions to business development and marketing team for upgrading of such items.
Post event evaluation - including data entry, analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders.
Marketing information:
Assisted, on occasion, with the compilation of content for pitch documents and marketing credentials - worked along with the international teams.
Managed the firms branded merchandise, corporate gifts, source suppliers and potential products and to pitch ideas to the business development and marketing team.
Design / graphics support - worked as required on the design and development of all marketing collateral (profile documents, team sheets, articles, press releases, deal announcements, power point presentation, HTML invitations). Worked along with the UK and International design support network as required.

Managing the administrative functions for the interior design exhibition (Index) and reporting to the Exhibition Director & Managers.
Attending to all old and new enquiries and creating new databases.
Sending out Information Packs which includes complete sales material for the forthcoming interior show.
Selling exhibition spaces to potential exhibitors across UAE and other GCC countries via email, telephone, fax and maintaining and expanding existing accounts.
Coordinating with international agents across 35 countries and providing them with the necessary materials and up to date information for their sales purposes.
Responding to all exhibitors and contractors concerning their queries regarding their stands at the exhibition.
Jointly working with the AutoCAD professional in order to update the Exhibition Floor Plans.
Issuing Invitation & Participation Letters to exhibitors upon their request to help them with their visa applications.
Responsible for generating Telecommunication Invoices to exhibitors for their telephone, fax & internet connections during the show.
Handling and processing all requisitions for free invitation tickets and exhibitor/contractor badges to the exhibitors.
Taking care of all stationary supplies and F&B requirement for the Organizers Office during the exhibition.
Coordinating with Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the appointed Printers in order to put together all important documentation to go in the Exhibitor Welcome Packs and Onsite Important Info Folder which provides all necessary contacts and information of the event.
Providing utmost assistance to other departments like Accounts, Advertising and PR.
Supporting the web designer by providing ongoing updates to the official website.
Assisting other staff on the corporate stand during all trade shows in order to promote various exhibitions organized by the company.
