Working as a Data Center Operator/ System Admin
• Efficiently evaluate different IT Infrastructure facilities this include; power supply,
temperature & humidity control equipment, fire detection & suppression systems
etc. Also, communicate with vendors that support these equipment.
• Perform key role by supporting 800+ serves all over the DP WORLD UAE region
that involve virtual servers. This count on the Server deployments,
troubleshooting, install server hardware, operating system software, front-end
and back-end server components, and production application services according
to defined requirements and data center operations standards.
• Responsible to track all server hosted and running within the Data Centers. It
involves wireless access points and different IT equipment that builds a backbone
of the IT infrastructure via WhatsUp Gold, HP, IRS, SCOM, Systrack, DCIM
solutions.
• Orchestrate tracked records of all business actions or duties performed by the
vendors and by other staff members, specifically in the Data Center.
• Accountable to implement access policy at Data Centers.
• Observantly analyze services on the critical applications for instance, ZODIAC,
OPUS TOS, CTMS-SPARCS interface, TBMS batch processes, CCTV services etc.
Resume services, as prerequisite, or escalate and follow up with Level 2.
• Perform leading role in conflict management and also in issue resolution.
• Communicate and coordinate with IT Helpdesk staff members and with end
users, in relation to planned and unplanned system outages, critical incident
reports, etc.
• Equally contribute in sustaining the documentation of infrastructure
processes, operation guidelines, and user manuals.
• Oversee standard assurance program by obeying ISMS standards and
strategies.
• Professional manage OS hardening, IIS installation and Hardening Sophos
Antivirus Management, Patch-Vulnerability Management.
• Initiate and device Backup Policy and direct troubleshooting backup problem.
