Key accountabilities:
• Contributes to the pre tender and tender governance review with the Commercial & Market & Pricing Team.
• Manages the bid team: structures and organizes the Bid Team, runs all necessary meetings to ensure the Bid Strategy is understood by all stakeholders, manages the bid schedule, budget and progress, regular reporting to management, oversees the production of cost benchmarks and manages cost optimization phases.
• Interfaces with all adequate functions and entities to ensure they are working efficiently together
• Ensures bid cost optimizations all along the bid preparation.
• Responsible for transferring all materials and Bid phase knowledge to the project execution team, bringing the execution team up to speed on the project and ensuring adequate support from the bid team for the execution team during the execution phase launch process.
• Provides input for Lessons Learned Workshops.
• Responsible for adequate communication with the other sub-teams and commercial/internal partners.
• Ensures on-time delivery and optimized quality of all deliverables of the Bid team.
• Responsible for the preparation of all Governance documents, with optimal quality and in a timely manner. To achieve this, the Bid Manager (a) Ensures that the different functions have completed preparation and submission of their input and are committed to this input and sign off on this (b) challenges the input, assumptions and accuracy of all functions.
• Submits and presents Bid Governance for approvals and Mandates, attends all review meetings and sees to it that bid governance rules are respected. The Bid Manager ensures that all changes during a negotiation phase are accurately documented and communicated to the team until Best And Final Offer is provided to the customer.

• Provide Bid deliverables fully optimized on time
• Reliability of Bid commitments and Governance inputs
• Proactiveness to lead functions and entities in the Bid Team all along the Bid execution phase
• Successfully oversaw all aspects of critical projects, including the preparation of Tender Deliverables, the evaluation of Life Cycle Cost calculations to assess the feasibility of various rolling stock options, and the provision of hands-on Warranty Support.
• Produced comprehensive reports on project activities and provided regular updates to senior management to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Led and managed a team of engineers in the development and design of Rolling Stock Systems whilst ensuring adherence to Project Timelines and Quality Standards.
• Provided hands-on warranty support to Customers, Troubleshooted issues, and Collaborated with Internal and External Stakeholders to expedite resolutions.
TENDER :
• Prepared competitive technical proposals and QCD estimations in compliance with RFP requirements. This involved conducting thorough research of the RFP, gathering data from stakeholders, and developing a compelling and persuasive proposal that met the client's needs and exceeded their expectations.
• Formulated and proposed rolling stock, optimized BOQ, work-load estimation for deployment life cycle, and technical documents required during tender phase. This involved understanding the client's requirements, developing a solution that met those requirements, and creating detailed documentation that outlined the solution.
• Negotiated with various internal stakeholders and external suppliers to get the best cost value. This involved building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, understanding their needs, and negotiating contracts that were mutually beneficial.
PROJECT:
• Prepare Life cycle cost in Ref to IEC 60300-3-3 Dependability management - Part 3-3 Application guide -Life cycle costing.
• Lead Preparation of Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Total Cost Ownership (TCO) analysis also ensuring Rolling stock & Maintenance costs for the following projects:
Regional Rapid Transit Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut, 82.15 km, 40 Trainset of 6 cars with 15 yrs. of Maintenance service (2021-2023)
Metro Agra-Kanpur, 67 units of MOVIA Metro Three-Car Trainsets (2020-21)
High-Speed Spain, 23 Frecciarossa trains to Trenitalia for operation by ILSA (2020-21)
Metro Bhopal Metro Rail Project and Indore Metro Rail Project 156 cars with 15 yrs. of Maintenance service, (2022-2023)
Monorail Sao Paulo Monorails Project within the INNOVIA Monorail 300 fully automated and driverless monorail of 19 Trains of each 7 cars ((2023- ongoing)
MAINTENANCE PLAN AND ANALYSIS:
• Effectively coordinated with suppliers to ensure on-Time Delivery of critical components and spare parts, resulting in timely completion of deliverables.
• Conducted thorough Maintainability and Availability Predictions, maintenance task analysis using 3D model, and supportability assessments to determine maintenance schedule.
• Coordinated with Cross-Functional teams to successfully deliver Maintenance Task Analysis.
• Conducted regular Demonstrations and validations to ensure seamless operations and support for customers.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Honored with Commendation Letters for consistently delivering outstanding work results in both 2021 and 2022.
🔑 System Responsible for Warranty, Complaint management, Maintenance, Installation and commissioning of various products i.e. COMPUTER CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM for 3 Phase WAG9/WAP7/WAP5 type AC Locomotive. Tri Plate Brake System for Conventional WAP4/WAG7 type Electric locomotive.
🔑 Mitigate associated engineering risks related to safety and technical issues ensuring no additional risks are imported to the operational railway
👉 Undertake component condition assessments to support the development and improvement of rolling stock maintenance regimes.
👉Implement and launch new and existing KBI products.
👉 Provides technical expertise to the customer related to all Knorr-Bremse products including specifications, applications, system integration, competitive differences, etc.
👉 Identify, communicate, refine, and monitor development programs including field/fleet tests, engineering releases, product change implementation.
👉 Conduct technical training for the customer on all Knorr Bremse products.
👉 Assist the customer in resolving product and system integration issues by working with the customer’s field service, test engineering, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering and warranty departments.
👉 Maintain and, where feasible, improve Knorr Bremse product and brand image by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, effective communication.
👉 Provide input to the customer/business strategy including technical feasibility.

🔑 Oversaw the following departments: Manufacturing, Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, Traffic, Operations, Planning, and Factory Management to ensure that output and Quality Targets are achieved and that all relevant Standards are observed.
🔑 Prepare Technical Drawings, specifications of Electrical Panels(MCC, PCC, LT Panels, and Distribution Boards with Instrumentation with Automation, PLCs, Mimic Panels, AC Drive Panels and Bus Ducts, ) using Computer Aided Design Software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, ABB - Panel Builder). Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards (conversant with IS 13947 and IS 8623) and customer requirements.
👉Forecast electrical control panel costs. Develop engineering projects analysis to include preliminary design, calculations, budget analysis, life-cycle costs plus equipment selection. Develop budgets, estimating labour, material, and execution costs.
👉Prepare 3D/2D ELECTRICAL DESIGN DRAWINGS of panels, instruments, electrical accessories, routing and other supporting structures as required to ensure that Installation and Operations conform to standards.
👉Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment. Investigate and test vendors and competitors' products.
👉Responsible for the generation of engineering designs and calculations, project schedules, project costing and quality documentation.
👉Support electrical control panel production. Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
👉Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers to ensure the cost-effective provision of services to the factory.
👉Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
