Overarching Sr. IT Systems Integrator for multiple aerospace and defense customers. Main focus is data warehousing, processing, storage, and integration into existing environments. Heavy focus on Windows Server 2012 R2, VMware, and various underlying disk subsystems.
Low-Level work on Various Storage Arrays including configuration, performance testing, and trouble shooting. Strong understand of storage from a vendor neutral standpoint. Strong experience with IBM and HP 3PAR. Also well versed with SAN Design, Implementation, and Migration. Strong understand of Fibre Channel, FCoE, FCIP, and iSCSI. Experience with Brocade, HP, and CIsco SAN Switches. Very good with Brocade SAN Advisor management software. Also working on becoming Infiniband certified as well. Well versed with Disaster recovery / Backup planning, deployment, and testing.
• Prepared and analyzed computer storage / Infrastructure metrics / reports in conjunction with other senior technical team members.
• Created and delivered executive reports and technical presentations.
• Worked as a cross-functional team member to increase overall effectiveness of both pre-sales & post-sales efforts.
•Responsible for Solution Architecture / Proof-of-Concepts, Implementation, Bench-marking, Troubleshooting, and product education for IBM’s Flagship High-Performance Computing product: General Parallel FileSystem (GPFS).
• Was flown to client site weekly to perform both pre-sales and post-sale technical support, as well as coordinate efforts between upper management and technical staff members.
• Performed strategic analysis and developed recommendations for overall process improvement.
• Clients included: US Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), Oil & Gas, Scientific, Retail & Financial Industries
• Worked closely with both Research & Development arms of IBM
