• To Ensure the Implimentation of Codes and Standards.
• To prepare the Quality Inspection & test plan as per Project’s specifications Drawings received from Customer and providing the awareness as per the requirement of look a head schedule.
• To prepare the Welding Procedures Specification and arrange the Procedure qualification record

as per Clint specification and material specification by ensuring PQP is effectiveness has implemented.

• All related information of NCR’s will be informed to QC manager for minimizing the standard violations that are occurring is site.
• To prepare the Quality Procedures for site execution as per specifications provided by customer.

• To witness the welder qualification test as per Client specification material specification.


• To prepare & provide the Quality Control documents to proposal departments for bidding purpose.

• To arrange the raw material inspection at market as per Purchase requisition.

• To arrange the NDT Team for NDT test at site on the requirements of Project/site manager.

• Ensures that adequate corrective actions are taken for NCR raised at sites.

• Remains in contact with site QC Teams to resolves the QC maters.

• Visit the sites to check and discuss the QC maters with QC Teams.

• Co-ordination with Third party Inspection Team.

• Coordinates with store staff and site QC for calibration of inspection, measuring and test

equipment’s being used at site.
• Ensure Quality Dossiers of completed jobs are compiled by the site QC
• To ensure all related calibration certificates are available as per the requirement of the work activities progress

• Preparing and Review of Welding Procedures Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), Welder/Welding Operator Performance Qualification Certificates and Cards, Review of Welding Maps and Welding and NDE Matrix according to AMSE Sec.IX and API 1104
• Preparation of Quality Control Procedure, Method statements, Inspection and Test Plans and NDE Procedures.
• Witnessing of WPS and PQR and Mechanical Testing for the Welding Procedure Qualifications (PQR).
• Witness of Welder Performance Qualification Tests (WPQT) and NDE for the Qualification of welders.
• Receiving Inspection of Materials for Piping and Steel Structure.
• Welding Inspection of Piping and Steel Structure work according to the ASME B31.3, B31.8 AWS D1.1 and Visual Examination Procedure.
• Review of NDE Reports, Hardness reports, PWHT reports and RT Film Interpretation.
• Review of Welder Lots and verification of NDE completion as required by the Project Specifications and Standards.
• Verification of Piping Re-instatement after Testing and close out of Punch list items.
• Final Mechanical Completion Walk Through for the completed systems.
• Review & preparing of Mechanical Completion Dossiers.
• Preparation of Project Weld Repair Rate Report and Welder Wise Repair Rate Report on weekly basis for monitoring.
• Monitoring the implementation of Welding Consumable Control Procedure(Receiving Inspection, MTCs review, Storage, Baking, Daily Issuance and Returns, Re-baking etc)
• Control of CAR/PAR Log and Client NCRs log and follow up for timely Close out.
• Conduct daily routine checks on all welding activities if welding parameters in applicable WPS have been achieved such as bevel tolerances, cleaning, welding consumables type and size, welder qualification, welding equipment condition, pre-heating (if requires) and inter-pass temperature requirement, electrical characteristics (amp-volts) welding speed, welding size, welding sequence as well as PWHT (if required).
• Ensure 100% visual inspection on all welded joints and review daily welding reports and schedules NDT, PWHT and hardness test as per required based on piping NDE matrix.
• Prepare discrepancy report or non-conformance report on observations during routine inspection.
• Review test package and conduct walk-thru, making inspection punch list and coordinating with construction for closing and verifying on site before offering it to Client.
• Witnessing for hydro-static and pnematic testing and cleaning / flushing of piping before / after test.
• Witnessing restoration and re-instatement activities.
• Witnessing pre-comissioning & commissioning activities with respect to piping and equipment.
• Review & preparing of Mechanical Completion Dossiers
