- Contributes to drafting local staff policies (including salaries, promotion, staff files, and medical files, staff rules and regulations), and implements them.
- Ensures those staff-management policies are applied correctly.
- Ensures those new hired employees are welcomed and well integrated.
- Ensures the carries out administrative follow-up of HR-related issues (conflict management, training etc.).
- Depending on the HR structure, supervises local recruitment and training.
- Acts as a focal point for employees on HR general HR-management issues.
- When applicable, supports line managers in their managerial responsibilities.
- Manage the performance process within Cairo delegation for all employees (launching Annual Performance Campaign and Individual Forms, controlling the quality of the performance launch, monitoring the progress of the performance forms and supporting end users on technical questions).
- Coaching managers and employees on the new performance tool.
- Perform the recruitment process (scan and filter applicants CVs, schedule candidates for tests and interviews, participate to the interviews and prepare recruitment or termination documents in addition to informing candidates of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.)
- Interview the new applicants, and participating in the candidates selection decisions.
- Responsible of the contracts management, renewals and update staff records.
- Conduct payroll process calculation for national staff including deduction, fixed and variable aspects of salary also transfers to bank accounts.
- Responsible of the social security, life and health insurance including payments, requests, and the consolidation to the accounting data.
- Responsible of compensations & holidays also the follow up of the training process.
- Preparing the Semi-annual cost of living survey.
- Contribute to the budget preparation of Cairo delegation.
- Prepares and posts accounting entries in the accounting software on a regular basis.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions in accordance with financial procedures.
- Helps ensure that operations run smoothly through efficient cash-flow management, covering the fund needs of the delegation/structure.
- Keeps files up to date at all times and guarantees proper filing of relevant supporting documents for future reference, including audits.
- Performs integrity checks of accounting entries made on a regular basis.
- Participates in monthly closing activities.
- Supervises the delegation's cash disbursements and payments, including salaries and working advances.
- Prepares invoices for payment (by cash, check or bank transfer).
- Carries out daily cash count and reconciliation.
- Ensures cash-flow management, including sufficiency of liquidity. Handles cash replenishment from the bank.
- Preparing and auditing financial statements to provide assurance on the truth and fairness of organization’s financial statements by testing each area/account.
- Understanding & evaluating client’s internal controls and providing advice on controls and processing systems.
- Getting an understanding of the client’s industry, risks and environment.
- Acting as a team manager.
