• Identifying with Materail requirement planning and manufacturing departments the company material requirements, specifying the requested level of quality and the annual volume forecast.
• Exploring new supply sources, and pre-evaluate them, in order to select the most competitve sources and add to the vendors register list.
• Handling tendering/bidding process with the potential local and overseas suppliers.
• Analyze and evaluate quotations and negotiate business terms, making certain that company required materials are being supplied at the most competitive price, quality and delivery terms.
• Issuing annual contracts to the selected suppliers, and make sure that contracts are being added/updated on the company system.
• Develop and establish improved controls and reporting system to provide accurate information as to accomplish, progress, performance, capabilities in controlling expenditure, savings, etc, .
• Monitor supplier’s performance, ensuring timely and quality delivery, exploring any developments or improvement programs needed for the current suppliers/alliances.
• Allign with NAF regional management the applied purchasing policies, sourcing strategies and buying decisions, in allign with GM global purchasing standards and strategies.
