Description:
Bij de Caesar Groep heb ik naast mijn Informatica Powercenter kennis gewerkt aan een tweede richting, namelijk Business Intelligence met de Oracle BI-tools. Hiervoor heb ik naast een aantal cursussen gevolgd te hebben, ook meegewerkt aan een datawarehouse project intern.
In dit interne project heb ik gewerkt aan het onsluiten van de belangrijkste bedrijsinformatie van de Caesar Groep. Hierbij ben ik in aanraking gekomen met Oracle OWB, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle- and SQL-server DB’s and de Management Informatie tool Business Objects.
Within the Caesar Group I worked on Business Intelligence with the Oracle BI-tools. Furthermore, I followed several courses and cooperated in an internal project.

Description: Telfort is a Dutch supplier of mobile telecommunication services. In October 2005 Telfort became a daughter company of KPN Telecom.
Telfort consists of different departments, including the ICT department. ICT is again divided in different sub-departments. I was active in the Business Intelligence (BI) department as a BI consultant/developer.
As a Powercenter specialist, I developed an ETL-process, which Telfort could use to find out which customers were the most active in the last 3 months (phone calls, SMS, MMS, voicemail etc.).

Description: Powercenter specialist; changing the ETL process of the Datawarehouse due to a transformation of users from the Telfort Network to the KPN Network. For this purpose, Telfort CDR’s(Call Detail Record’s) had to be imported one on one into the KPN Datawarehouse. On top of that, I performed different tests for SMS, GPRS and phone calls.
