established reasonable sized Engineering Consultancy firms.

• Managing the Yamuna Action Plan-III (JICA funded )for the
Delhi Jal Board which included preparation of DPRs for
rehabilitation of WWTPs by improving the treated effluent
standards & rehabilitation of gravity sewers and pumping
mains using Trench-less techniques.
• Getting DPRs approved by Third Party Inspection ( IIT
Roorkee) before submission to the Central Ministry.

3. Rehabilitation and Up-gradation of Kondli - Phase I \{45.5

• Undertook preparation of DPRs, Contract Documents on
DBO Basis including O & M for 10 years, , floating of
tenders, Technical and financial evaluation of bids, award of
contracts & construction supervision including Quality
Control as Team Leader for all the Packages of Urban
Sector of ADB funded project for Jammu & Kashmir
Economic Reconstruction Agency. The packages were as
follows:
--Laying, jointing and testing of water transmission mains for
Rangil Water Supply Scheme
--Laying, jointing and testing of water transmission mains for
Nishat - Talemanzil
--Laying, jointing and testing of water transmission mains for
Doodhganga Water Supply
--Construction of 16 No. Toilets.
--Revamping of existing 5 No. Water Treatment Plants at
Srinagar
--Construction of primary, secondary & main drains\[ Pohru to
Bemina Chowk\] incld PS.
--Construction of storm water network incld PS \[Tengpura to
Rawalpura\] .
As General Manager(PHE) undertook design of Water Supply using EPANET /WATERCAD .
• Undertook the rehabilitation of brick barrel from Pili Kothi to
Ajmeri Gate & from Ajmeri Gate to Indian Express sewer. It
involved carrying out following activities:
--Approval of methodology of rehabilitation of sewer by Delhi Jal
Board .
--To brief media at the project site.
--To attend review meetings with Joint Venture Partner/Client.
Liaison with civic agencies
Oversaw the Project Management activities, Infrastructure Development, Facilities Renovation, expansion of various Structures, for Port and Harbour works
• Carried out Structural Design of technical buildings & up to
4-storeyed Married Accommodation, Under/Ground tanks
using STAAD PRO & STRUDS software.
• Design of central Sewerage Scheme for Bhuj (AF), Ambala
Cantt, Adampur (AF) Andaman & Nicobar(AF), Ambala (AF)&
Agra (AF) Station including STPs and SPSs.
• Developed a program on Excel for Hydraulic & Structural
design of sewer network. ·
• Published articles “Trench less Construction Techniques” &
“Problems Afflicting Sewerage Systems” in the magazine of
ADG (D & C) Pune.
• Drafted and issued the policy on Tertiary treatment and
Recycling of sewage. ·
• Scrutiny of Water Supply Agreements between State and
Defence. ·
• Presented Technical Papers (a) " Water Supply Distribution in
Sub-Zero Region" at an International Conference organized
by Chief Engineer Srinagar Zone at Leh in 2004. ·
(b) "Rainwater Harvesting- A need of hour "at a
National conference organized by MES & DRDO at New Delhi
in Aug 2005.
• Gave a lecture on "Wastewater Management in Military
Cantonments" in a Central Air Command Conference.
• Design, tendering and execution of augmentation of
Sewerage Scheme of Cantt. including Stabilisation Pond
and SPS.
• Was Head of nearly 300 industrial, basic staff with a team
of 5 No. Site Executives.
• Provided entire infrastructural support to an Operational Air
Base including O and M of AC plants, 33kV Sub Station,
Transformers, DG sets, Runway, Taxi Track including
Shoulders, Blast Pens, Technical and Residential
Buildings, 3 Lakhs gallon capacity Water Treatment Plant,
water distribution network, sewerage system including
Stabilization Ponds .
• Planning of works, preparation of tenders and
implementation works.
• Oversaw the O & M of a Water Treatment Plant comprising
of storage of 100Million Gallons U/G tanks followed by
Clari- flocculator, Rapid Sand filters, chlorinator and
pumping station.
• Submitted a paper “Improvement of Sewerage System of
AF Station” to Water Asia.
• Undertook Rehabilitation the Hangar of size 30m x 90m
Rehabilitation the Hangar of size 30m x 90m within a
record time .
• Was responsible for maintenance of external water supply, sewage disposal,
buildings and roads.
• Was responsible for design and scrutiny of water supply and sewerage schemes at E-in-C's Branch Army Headquarters.
