Responsibilities include technical advice in waste management and strategic planning,
overall program planning, management, and implementation of the EU funded
program to support sustainable waste management and environmental protection in
Borno State’s waste management programme. Provide waste Management expertise
and advisory Support. Promote strategic partnerships with the EU and government.
responsible for working directly with project partners including implementing Partners
and Government agencies. sets strategic directions for the overall objective to
strengthen post-conflict waste management and environment protection for longer-
term resilience building and social stabilization of conflict-affected people and
communities in Borno state. Planning and management assuring quality delivery of the
Resource and Results Framework of the project.
Responsibility included for strategic planning, project management, manage the project
team, procurement, human resources, and finance in liaise with the relevant Operation
Units in UNDP Nigeria. Raise visibility of project and support to knowledge
management and knowledge sharing within the UN system on Sustainable Waste
Management and Environmental Protection. Headed the quarterly review meetings and
annual project reviews for the Programme Steering Committee by monitoring and
reporting the progress of project implementation, assessing results, and identifying
areas of weaknesses to ensure the project achieves the planned results in accordance
with relevant plans; Promote Strategic Partnerships and Coordination. Support to
knowledge management and knowledge sharing within the UN system on Solid Waste
Management, Livelihood, and Early Recovery
At the organization level, I have supported formulation of country program document
(CPD) for years 2022-2025 at UNDP, especially on the environmental sustainability and
climate component.
Joined Oxfam at the end of 2016 as project manager and technical advisor to support projects in economic justice program/ WASH in the field of capacity building and managing infrastructure improvement at northern Jordan. The program included livelihood and infrastructure support as well as development and income generating activities in solid waste management projects. The focus was on directly supporting Jordanian municipalities’ capacity development and sustainable skills development of vulnerable community residents as well as supporting Syrian Refugees residing nearby areas. the project aim to create job opportunities and support starting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the solid waste field where 400 Beneficiaries were trained and introduced to the solid waste field as new business avenue and option for these Beneficiaries as a future career, the project in its second phase works directly in supporting current and new business entrepreneurs to take the lead in this field via providing training and capacity building as well as support the initiation of a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise to take the lead in the solid waste management and operations in collaboration with the government. The program focused on resilience and sustainability.
Also, as technical adviser, I am providing support to all solid waste recycling program in Al Za’tari camp, which is an innovative project run by Oxfam to provide cash for work for Syrian refugees as well reduce amount of waste that entering the nearby Landfill. Supported proposal writing and budgeting of new solid waste projects:
for an owned private business as well as working as freelancer
consultant for engineering firms advising during the stage of participating in tenders related to the
management systems and strategic planning for solid waste in Jordan. Supported proposal writing
and budget analysis.
, review drawings, hydraulic calculations and overview the construction of a
wastewater treatment plant; the plants design employs modified extended ditch as the primary
treatment system.

Kuwait. I worked as a course instructor in addition I have
worked on manual translation from English to Arabic and preparation of introductory and
advanced courses in Microsoft office Word and Excel programs.
I
have also gained strong experience in geology while teaching sedimentary rocks, petroleum, and
industrial rocks courses.
Researcher, Jordan. I have contributed to a project conducted by University of Yarmouk, Jordan,
that focused on removing pollutant materials such as Phenols and Aniline from water through the
use of natural clays and zeolites after treatment with organic compounds.
