2013 till now: Omrania & Associates: Engineering Consultants, Amman/Jordan. Design and Technical:
• Infrastructure projects design including: Substations, MV and LV networks, street lighting, and Telecommunication and Fiber optic networks. Applying Saudi Electrical Company regulations and requirements.
• Also Design projects using Revit program.
As an Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities include:
• Loads Estimation and space requirements for electrical services.
• Electrical building services engineering design, from concept design through to construction issue.
• Design of electrical systems such as high voltage networks, Lighting and Power distribution, fire alarm, public address/music systems, CCTV, ELV systems, access card reader, Central antenna TV, TELECOMMUINCATION and satellite reception systems for Commercial and Residential Projects. Supervision of Electrical works including reviewing of Material submittals, Shop Drawings, Variations Claims, etc.
• Coordinate with Clients, Architects, Structural Engineers and Mechanical Engineers and any other external design consultant.
Projects Design experience includes:
• KAFD (King Abdullah Financial District): The world largest ingoing project which including residential &offices towers.
-Electrical building services engineering design, from concept design through to construction issue.
-Carrying out design calculations on a variety of buildings i.e. residential, commercial, educational, leisure facilities, industrial, specialized facilities, etc
-Design according to local utilities rules, regulations and design guides.
-Design to British and other International design standards.
-Preparing technical specifications.
- Design of electrical systems such as high voltage networks, Lighting and Power distribution, fire alarm, public address/music systems, CCTV, ELV systems, access card reader, Central antenna TV, TELECOMMUINCATION and satellite reception systems for Commercial and Residential Projects. Supervision of Electrical works including reviewing of Material submittals, Shop Drawings, Variations Claims, etc.
-Preparing drawings for drafting by in-house CAD team.
-Instruct CAD operators in all project related matters and responsible for the checking of all CAD works done.
-Coordinate with Clients, Architects, Structural Engineers and Mechanical Engineers and any other external design consultant.
-Preparing electrical LOAD DEMAND NOTIFICATIONS and obtain authority approval for the same.
-Liaison with local electrical authorities for obtaining approvals of HV single line diagrams.
