• Responsible for implementation of best planning and scheduling practices in and assignment/project

• Review Primavera P6 schedule submitted by construction contractor and finalize baseline schedule.

• Prepared the EPC and construction schedule in Primavera P6 and perform CP analysis. Prepare schedule performance measurements reports, forecasts and studies on a regular basis.

• Perform schedule analysis of alternative studies and schedule impact of scope adjustments before and during schedule deviation negotiations.

Worked as the Planning Engineer Mechanical (Piping, Equipment and Steel Structure) on “Integrated Gas Development Plant Habshan - 5 by GASCO”.
Project was undertaken on EPC basis by Joint venture of JGC and Technimont for Process Area and Hyundai for Utilities. Descon worked as the subcontractor to JGC for construction works (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation).
My role as Project Planning & Cost control Engineer involved performing various activities such as:
• Managing the Integrated change control by close coordination with all 3 phases of the project, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction as well as with Project Sponsors, Project management team and Client
• During Planning phase review of the contract draft and Bid documents for developing the scope Baseline, Identification of Key points in SOW (Scope Of Work) for developing the WBS structure, Clarification of ambiguous points in contract draft for clear scope definitions
• Maintain the current and baseline schedule, analyze the effect of proposed changes and maintain the baseline change control authorization process
• Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review.
• Development of cost performance Baseline for Equipment and Manpower to reflect detailed estimation of costs.
• Development of Schedule Baseline Plans on P6.
