• Handling all controllership functions of the group with the related entities including consolidation of financials and Quarterly release of Audit Financial statements. The group is made up of 12 entities with variant levels of ownership. Position held with a total count of more than 30 subordinates including seven managers; function covers areas of accounting, internal controls, payroll accounting, shared services/payables, Inventory and costing, credit control and insurance.
• Managing areas of acquisition accounting including Purchase Price Allocation (IFRS 3), Impairment valuation (IAS 16/38), Goodwill. carving out of Financials of separating entities.
• Revising and updating the “Delegation of Authorities” across the group.
• Adjusting and correcting the accounting treatments including Employee balances, Accrued liabilities, taxation accounting (VAT and WHT), Open POs, Inventory provisioning along with related Automatic Accounting Entries (AAI)
• Implementation of Electronic invoicing as per the regulatory requirement of the ZATCA in KSA.
• Implementing a process of stock counting on a semiannual basis
• Tagging of Fixed assets to improve management, accounting, and realization of assets.
• Automation of customers assessment for improved credit control.
• Manage Cash Conversion cycle of the group including Cash inflow and Outflow.
