1. management of water treatment plants starting from tendering through planning, detailed engineering, E&M design, procurement, site installation, testing & commissioning and handing over.
2. Coordination with tendering, process, CAD, procurement and project management departments to assure project integrity, time scope and budget are within acceptable limits.
3. Performing revision of process designs for water and wastewater treatment plants and coordinating scope of work with project managers to meet the project deadlines.
4. Solving technical issues, follow up site installations through site managers and coordinating with the clients, consultants to reach quality limits.
5. Managed a total of 9 parallel water treatment projects around Egypt in the same time with a total budget of approx. 500 million EGPs.

- Innovated new designs for the company list of products like washing plants, mobile plants and compact concrete batching plants.
- Managed, charted out design plans and design standards for design dept.
- Collaborated with production, marketing, installation, and QC departments to solve the production problems and set out the yearly targets and plans.
- Established scope for 5 years designs with man power requirement.

- Restructured design office from scratch with inclusion of all necessary team and tools.
- Conceptually designed 3 different innovative concrete batching plants.

Design and Coordination Engineer

1. Checking and Updating P&I diagrams for the sewage treatment plant, According to ATV standards, Preparing Equip. lists. Consumer Lists etc.
2. Design of detailed Sewage pumping stations according to BS standards.
3. Design of pipe supports, buried pipe lines for GRP pipes.
4. Design of Fire Fighting Networks layouts NFPA.
5. Following up the material procurement for site use.

- Design and detailing of various types of conveyors, and material handling equipments.
- Design of silos, tanks and material storage bins, high legs, bracing and base plates using AISC standards.
- Preparing the production plan in cooperation with the planning department.
- Supervising the design office.
- CADD management, Preparing of CAD standards using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor including the developing of new CAD tools for draftsmen.
- Design of water line systems for the batching plants as well as waterline details and piping.
- Preparing the plant manuals for customers.
- Investigating cost for new design drafts and preparing BOM for new design prior issuing to workshop.
- Handling quotations and follow up customer technical issues.
- Failure analysis of batching plants’ problems.
Achievements
1. Prepared a plan for change of the manual hand drafting drawings into full CAD digital drawings.
2. Designed new tools for draftsmen for their AutoCAD needs.
