• Lead, manage, monitor, and evaluate over 70 airport security officers, working in 12-hour day/night shifts.
• Participate in establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Douala Airport Security Unit in
accordance with the security program of the Douala International Airport, under the strict supervision of
the Airport Security Unit Commander.
• Manage security incidents in collaboration with the competent authorities of the state where need be,
while reporting directly to the airport security unit commander as prescribed by the standard operating
procedures.
• Liaise with other aviation stakeholders especially on security related matters.
• Establish a work roster and assign tasks to the various team leaders.
• Ensure proper implementation of tasks by the different teams that report to the hierarchy.
• Carry out sensitization (Aviation on aviation security to every worker of the
platform of the Douala international airport before they obtain their access card.
• Training aviation security personnel and the application of ICAO standards and recommended practices
• Maintain discipline within the unit and report cases of indiscipline as well as take corrective measures
towards them.

in accordance with the airport security program of the latter under the strict supervision of the airport
security unit commander.
