• Manage the maintenance and operation of depot equipment and engineering vehicles including automatic train wash plant, rail grinding machine, tunnel cleaning vehicle, track geometry inspection vehicle, breakdown recovery vehicle, diesel locomotive, underfloor wheel lathe, underfloor lifting jack, mobile lifting jack, wheel press, bogie lift, bearing puller and press, turntable for bogies, stinger system, bogie test stand, etc.
• Supervise a team of 17 people including 3 engineers and 14 technicians.
• Ensure the performance target of the Depot Equipment Department is followed.
• Establish and implement the management system for the staff recruitment and competence management to ensure that sufficient competent staff are available for the provision of the maintenance on depot equipment and maintenance vehicle.
• Establish and implement management system to ensure the availability and reliability of the depot equipment and maintenance vehicle achieve the required standards.
• Oversee the Depot Equipment Maintenance Section and supervise the subordinate engineers and provide them guidance and support to ensure the maintenance activities are performed professionally with high standards.
• Perform day to day management on the Depot Equipment and continuously improve safety and operational efficiency of the system maintenance organization.
• Manage and monitor the performance of the Depot Equipment and provide technical solutions for improvement when required.
• Establish and maintain the safety, quality and customer service-oriented culture of the depot equipment and team.
• Monitor and manage the costs of the maintenance service and to ensure the maintenance service is provided within the budget.
• Manage system to ensure all the critical maintenance activities provided for the depot equipment and maintenance vehicles are identified, controlled and performed in safe, professional manner.

• Manage and follow up preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities of 192 Metro Vehicles (32 Alstom Metro Vehicles, 92 Rotem Metro Vehicles and 68 Driverless Rotem Metro Vehicles)
• Supervise a team of 30 people including 6 engineers and 24 technicians.
• Manage 68 Driverless Metro Project including commissioning, warranty, trainings, spare parts and documentation.
• Manage RAMS phase of 68 Driverless Metro Project in acordance with EN 50216.
• Contribute to Testing & Commissioning of 120 Driverless Rotem Metro Vehicles for M7 Line.
• Oversee the maintenance of depot equipment.
• Monitor reliability of all fleet.

• Oversaw the heavy maintenance, repair and test of electrical equipment on a fleet of 281 vehicles, including traction motors, traction converters, auxiliary power converters, transformers, brake resistors etc.
• Supervised a team of 23 engineers and technicians to carry out maintenance activities and modifications.
• Generated maintenance documents and technical reports.
• Monitored reliability and life cycle cost of equipment.
• Monitored obsolescence of equipment and proposed technical solutions to overcome problems identified.

Specific Achievements:
• Created a comprehensive 5-year heavy maintenance plans, including the number of staff needed, required workshop areas, maintenance schedules, detailed tasks and materials.
• Contributed to the preparation of technical specifications for the 272 metro vehicles and the 30 non-catenary trams including depot equipment.
• Contributed to the implementation of SAP software into our system. Developed vehicle and equipment identifications, maintenance task lists, production resource tools, bill of material lists and more.

• Planned and followed up preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities of 32 Siemens-Duewag Vehicles, 55 Bombardier Trams and 37 Alstom Citadis Trams.
• Involved in the Procurement and T&C of 37 pcs new Alstom Citadis Tram Project.
• Involved in the Refurbishment Project of 32 Siemens-Duewag vehicles.
• Created maintenance documents, instructions, check forms, procedures and technical reports.
• Procured rolling stock and depot equipment.
• Monitored reliability of trains and train subsystems on continues basis.
• Provided training, support and guidance on rolling stock maintenance to the maintenance staff and Operation Department.

 Reviewed the fire & life safety analyses and required deliverable.
 Reviewed the safety submissions, safety requirements and the implemented design solutions.
 Reviewed the performance and availability deliverable, RAM requirements and their integration with safety solutions.
 Controlled the system assurance tasks during the contract life cycle in order to ensure that the system is operable and the reliability availability and maintainability targets are achieved.

Specific Achievements:
• Oversaw the RAMS phase of Alstom Citadis Tram Project. Attended the National Conference on Automatic Control (TOK2012) in Turkey to present a paper on “RAMS in railway systems” with a colleague.
• Managed the Event Recorder Installation Project to the Siemens-Duewag vehicles to be able to see main data. Decreased failure rate by %30 with the contribution of other enhancements.
• Made preperations for heavy maintenance of Bombardier Trams. Examined all the equipment and optimized their maintenance period. Developed maintenance instructions and tasks with material and resource.
