• Leads the development and implementation of an overarching IT Architecture for the Swisscontact head office IT policy.
• Overall strategic responsibility for all centrally managed information technology solutions.
• Establish standards, principles, and models that guide technology decisions for the organization.
• Leads the development, documentation and implementation of architecture strategy, roadmaps, standards, tools, and processes.
• Develops mentors and coaches IT Architects and staff performing architecture roles.
• Works closely with architecture, development and infrastructure teams on to design and implement solutions for technology projects and initiatives.
• Provides expertise regarding the solution architecture and technology needs of Swisscontact.
• Has overall responsibility for the technical solution for specific projects from inception through post-delivery support.
• Supports on going system maintenance and development efforts.
• Supports the resolution of major operational problems within the IT environment.
• Participates with the Director and other Managers in the overall planning for the unit.
• Develops an annual budget for the area, for approval by the Director.
• Maintains and updates professional skills and knowledge, and integrates into the work environment new knowledge acquired through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• Patch Management, Virtual Infrastructure maintenance, troubleshooting network operation systems as well as the Email infrastructure.
• Plan and implement network security including firewalls, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity and performing user management.
• Experience with internet and intranet technologies with emphasis on security including Routers, Gateways, Anti-Spam, Wi-Fi connectivity for consultant and VPNs for remote branch office.
• To install, configured and manage File Server, Print server, DHCP server, Mail server (Exchange 2013 using office 365, Exim and Qmail) & Internet gateway server (MS ISA Server).
• Manage and maintain and implement backup and disaster recovery best practices for all servers and users.
• Install, configure, upgrades and maintain Windows & Linux servers, Router, switch and other related equipment, devices and systems.
• Interacting with 3rd party vendors for problem resolution
• User bandwidth monitoring and managing depending on priority by Mikrotik router different offices.
• Investigate user problems, identify their source and determine possible solutions remote communication and over the cell phone.
• To supervise IT Officers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and operating system problems and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, clustering on Windows 2000/2003/2008 server for LAN/ WAN environment.
• Experience with internet and intranet technologies with emphasis on security including Routers, Gateways, Firewalls, Enterprise Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, and VPNs.
• Mail server (Lotus Notes), File Server & Proxy Server maintenance.

• Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
