In-charge of local Supply Chain Management team for “Akhaura-Laksam Dual Gage Double Line Project” - a project under Bangladesh Railway.
To monitor all the status of material supply through the project.
To be up-to-date about the schedule of works and requirements by end to end coordination.
Continuous sourcing of potential suppliers.
To act as an effective negotiator for the employer.
Ensure wise purchases of goods and smooth delivery maintaining right quality with the right price in a right time.
To establish the best mode of payment considering the project benefit.
To identify cost saving areas for the projects.
To establish Free of Cost policy as maximum as possible regarding product service, warranty replacement, sample collection, exchange of goods etc.
To guide and monitor the subordinates to complete their tasks before deadline
To identify the constraints of procurement policy and take initiative for rectifying.
Maintain accurate records of purchases using procurement software.
• To procure all equipment, spares and services required by the projects.
• To interface with Product Line Planning Team to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.
• To create requisitions for items, and manage approval process.
• To look for interested suppliers and obtain/negotiate the best deal for the company and maintain good relations with them.
• To ensure wise purchases of goods or services maintaining high quality within budget.
• To maintain liaison between procurement team with the technical and finance department.
• To monitor contracts and vendor performance and consult with vendors and user departments to implement corrective action when required.
• To follow up the inventories of the products supplied to the project site.
• To maintain accurate records of purchases.
• To assign, monitor, motivate and oversee the procurement team.

• To review, update, and maintain purchase orders until they are closed.
• To act as a representative for company regarding all Govt. and non-Govt. tender works.
• To supply & installation of medical equipment in different hospitals and diagnostic centers.
• To create good link with all vendors and different organization.
• To communicate and establish good relation with all foreign principles.
- It is a 32 MW Industrial Power Plant with Gas Engines (DEUDZ, TCG-2032) along with 66 kV Grid Station.
- After completing this internship now I am familiar with all sections required for an industrial Power plant and as well as their operations also
It includes Production Planning and Control, Machine Shop, Fabrication Shop, NDT Laboratory, Material Testing Laboratory, Heat Treatment Shop, Assembly Shop, Pattern Shop, Forging Unit and Inspection.
From this internship I have come to know about different processes of product manufacturing, fabrication, machining, material testing and as well as their assembly also.
