Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Planning and coordinating transportation operations to ensure efficient delivery of
goods while minimizing costs.
2. Overseeing and managing a team of drivers, logistics coordinators, and warehouse
staff to ensure smooth operations.
3. Managing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working
condition and comply with regulations.
4. Developing efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize fuel
consumption and transit time.
5. Monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with warehouse teams to ensure
adequate stock levels for transportation.
6. Ensuring compliance with transportation laws and regulations regarding vehicle
safety, weight limits, driver hours, etc.
7. Managing budgets, negotiating contracts with carriers, and finding cost-effective
transportation solutions.
8. Identifying potential risks in transportation operations and implementing strategies to
mitigate them, such as insurance coverage, safety protocols, etc.
9. Liaising with customers to address delivery concerns, providing updates on shipment
status, and ensuring timely deliveries.
I successfully completed my Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Human Resource Management, earning a CGPA of 3.85. By earning this degree, I was able to get sufficient understanding about many business fields and their operations.
