⮚ Support Instrumentation and ICSS Commissioning Superintendent daily activities. Prepare all relevant reference documentation for pre commissioning and commissioning for instruments such as compilation of ITR check sheets for Instrumentation and fire and gas Work pack / loop folder (completion database) system reports as per category of system and sub system. Preparation of Notice of Energization as per System assignment and monitor mechanical completion progress report in ECOM and assist in transition from construction scope installation to commissioning scope of work and startup/testing scope of work.
⮚ Project Management, Plan & Scheduling all the Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Startup activities. Follow-up the work progress in accordance with commissioning schedule.
⮚ Attain the weekly commissioning review meeting with Client & PMC project Team & update the status and Reschedule the activity if anything lagging from the Schedule.
⮚ Technical & Engineering issues need to be discussed in review meeting & major solution to be taken up for immediate implementation.
⮚ Reports on work progress, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions.
⮚ Lead the Commissioning Team; Handling the Team of Engineers and Supervisors and Close coordination & follow-up the Progress.
⮚ To independently review & develop various complex commissioning deliverables, analyze the documents and highlight the shortfalls through review process and address these shortfalls with the team.
⮚ Develop / Improvise Onshore and Offshore Commissioning Procedures for Instrumentation and Control Systems.
⮚ To support in developing project deliverables as per project & client requirement
⮚ Prepare & Review of company development work methodology / procedures.
⮚ Attend and SAT depending on project requirements
⮚ Independently deals with regulatory authority, class, vendors and clients with regards to comments or queries on commissioning deliverables and develops technical/engineering solutions to the issues raised.
⮚ Carry forward the HSEQ policies / requirements to the team and meet overall HSEQ objectives in all projects / feedback results to corporate HSEQ team.
⮚ Participates in meetings with the project team to review progress and addresses interface/implementation/execution issues where necessary based on the standard procedures, practices and lessons learnt from past projects to ensure that the project proceeds timely and smoothly.
⮚ Perform duties as per directives of reporting authority.
⮚ Leads site execution team on performing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities planned for the Instrumentation & Control systems, managing the interfaces with Construction and Pre-Operations teams, ensuring adherence to yard and company PTW systems regarding all the Instrumentation & Control System.
⮚ Commissioning of Instrumentation & Control Systems, Functional tests all system.
⮚ Responsible for verification and close out of all Safety critical elements associated with the package.
⮚ Ensure all regulatory and statutory testing and requirements are performed and records are maintained.
⮚ Perform Risk assessment for the commissioning scope, conduct toolbox meetings
⮚ Ensure to supervise Technicians to carry out commissioning activities in a safe and controlled manner in accordance with site procedures and PTW requirements
⮚ Manage discipline and cohesive environment in the office. Monitor / Guide all commissioning engineers/assistants/administrators.
⮚ Preparation of System SAT documents for final Power up the System with Client
⮚ Supervise the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on instrumentation and control systems, proactively identifying and resolving problems and minimizing downtime, in safe manner and in compliance with Client and best practice S/D Maintenance. Procedures.
⮚ Initially, preparing procedures and engineering activities descriptions in preparation for Onshore
⮚ Offshore Projects and operations activities
⮚ Participating in and assisting with the co-ordination of the Project’s performance test(s)
⮚ Reviewing commissioning deliverables issued by Contractors and Suppliers
⮚ Monitoring, inspecting and verifying the performance of the maintenance contractors and their respect of time scheduling
⮚ Responsible for inspection related installation, pre-commissioning, testing for the involved project to conduct inspection of ongoing activities for Instruments & instrumentation installations.
⮚ Responsible for the implementation of Quality control program for the project, routine site inspection and periodical offsite inspection. Ensure that the works at site are in compliance with approved Quality procedure and project specifications.
⮚ Project Engineering including coordination with client, licensors, consultants, disciplines, vendors and subcontractors, development of detailed project scope and schedule, basic engineering requirements and design data, supervision and coordination of engineering work done by disciplinary engineering and vendors, coordination in scheduling of engineering activities to meet overall engineering and construction schedule.
⮚ Review and check drawing, requisition, and specifications, prepare and monitor engineering document handling procedures including vendor data, prepare various technical documents.
⮚ Responsible for inspection related installation, pre-commissioning, testing for the involved project to conduct inspection of ongoing activities for Instruments & instrumentation installations.
