Presently I am serving as Head of Central Project Coordination in Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a reputed business conglomerate in the country.
I am responsible for supervision and coordination of all the projects of the company. Besides, my team participates in execution of project work.
During my tenure here we have completed three projects, these are Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) project, Learning and Development Center project and Central Amenities Building project. One more project is also under going which will be completed in next 2 months.
I was responsible for planning and implementation of 3 mega project of the company, i.e. A K Khan Economic Zone, A K Khan Container Terminal and A K Khan Inland Container Depot.
Though I served in this organization for only 1 year, but in this small period of time I had lot of achievements, like, obtaining license from government for the Inland Container Terminal, obtaining pre qualification license from BEZA (government authority) for the Economic Zone, obtaining license for 3 numbers of Container Vessels from Ministry of Shipping, signing MoU with 2 foreign companies for JV agreement on Container Terminal and Inland Container Depot, Selection of consultant for feasibility study of the projects undertaken etc.
I served in Bangladesh Army for 28 years including 2 years deputation service in Kuwait Army from 1991 to 1993.
Majority of my service period covers the administration and management role.
I also served as project director for infrastructure development project during my service in Army.
I was also honored to serve as Instructor in Defense Services Command and Staff College for 3 years.
