Recording of transactions into the accounting system.
Ensure efficient fund management and prepare reports on fund movement among ACI Ltd and its sister concerns.
Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure transparency and to have better control over funds.
Evaluate various ratios from financial statements to facilitate balance sheet management.
Conduct depot auditing as part of risk management.
Conduct yearend inventory counting and factory visit with stakeholders etc.
Worked as an intern with the Project Cost Management (PCM) team and Tax team in Finance department of Chevron Bangladesh. Some responsibilities performed throughout the internship period are-
Ensure proper maintenance of Advance Income Tax (AIT) and VAT Challans.
Ensure proper communication with vendors for Advance Income Tax (AIT) and VAT Challans.
Engaged with ‘The Automation of Advanced Income Tax (AIT) Certificate Project’ etc.
Observed various processes and accounting treatments related with project costing.
