•Reviews client's technical documentation and requirements and maintains project technical files.
•Controls subcontracted discipline engineering documents.
•Sets up and executes assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies relevant to any engineering topic associated to discipline, pursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimization in term of costs, fabrication simplicity and safety.
•Prepares design specifications, develops studies and calculation notes for steel structures and structural steel buildings.
•Prepares MTO and BOQ. Prepares S.O.W. and technical specification for steel structure sub contract.
•Prepares technical documentation for steel structure material requisition and assists the procurement dept. in the technical evaluations.
•Controls manufacturer’s shop drawings and connection calculation notes and details.
•Supervises/Approves steel structure drawings issued by designers and draftsmen.
•Implements discipline follow-up activities.
•Implements field engineering activities.
•Ensuring timelines in schedule and maintaining to complete the work in time and
follow HSC.
•Having experiences in maintenance and installation of reciprocating compressor, overhauling of centrifugal pump, gear pump, reciprocating pump and alignment of
pump and motor.
•Having hands on experiences in boiler auxiliaries like ID fan, FD fan, primary air fans,
also do alignments of ID&FD fans.
•Having experiences in maintenance and installation of ID, FD fans, economizers, and its daily lubrication & alignment for rotating equipment of pump, compressor, blower, motors, gearboxes, pump, and pulley through laser machine.
•Responsible for the manpower and material managements.
•Monitoring all types of mechanical equipment and material handling.
•Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance, fitting, dismantling, repairing, reconditioning, trouble shooting, monitoring, inspection, calibration, installation, break down maintenance, routine maintenance, prevent maintenance, condition-based maintenance, major shut down and minor shutdown.
•Supervise and coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling work on a variety of plant and equipment mainly in central workshops but also on site such work includes maintenance and overhaul of centrifugal pumps single & multi stage (horizontal & vertical), submersible pump, positive displacement pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, heat exchangers, various pipelines, gearbox etc.
•Read and interpret plans, schedules, charts indicating meters and testing equipment.
•Preventive maintenance of centrifugal pump (alignment checking, bearing and mechanical seal replacement)
•Carried out maintenance of different kind's static equipment like, gate valves, butterfly valve, plug valve, ball valve and globe valve, Heat Exchangers, vessel and silos.
•Use a variety of tools and measuring devices such as hammers, wrenches, pneumatic tools, high pressure jetting and drilling equipment, grinders, calipers, feeler gauges, micrometers, vernier, dial indicators etc. accordance with permit to work system and ensures that tools used are correctly calibrated and work with very close Tolerance.
•Carries out routine Preventive maintenance of machinery and static equipment’s according to schedules, check list and specific equipment requirements includes changing oils, cleaning trainers, replacing filters, greasing and general overhaul of equipment’s, repairs and replaces defective parts, reassembles etc.
•Maintain records and logs of daily activities.
•Generating equipment which may use any one type of fuel such as coal, nuclear fuel or natural gas read charts, meters and gauges to monitor voltage and electricity flows check equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems adjusts controls to regulate the flow power start or stop generators, turbines and other equipment as necessary.
•Carried out preventive & corrective maintenance program activities for rotating and static equipment’s.
•Prepare safe work permits, hot work, cold work, lifting and confined space permit.
•Rectifying the shaft alignment of rotating equipment.
•Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and overhauling work on a variety of plant and equipment mainly in central workshops but also on site such work includes maintenance and overhaul of centrifugal pumps, submersible pump, compressors, blowers, fans, gearbox etc.
•Carried out maintenance of different kind's static equipment like, gate valves, butterfly valve, plug valve, ball valve and globe valve, heat exchangers, vessel and silos.
•Perform corrective mechanical maintenance by troubleshooting cause of malfunction using visual inspection and replacing or repairing broken parts such as gauges, gaskets, bearing, valves and pumps.
