• Inspection, Load Testing and Certification of all types of Lifting Equipment including all types of
o Cranes (Tower Cranes, Mobile Crane, Pedestal Crane, Overhead Cranes, Jib Cranes, Lorry Loaders)
o Lifting Gears, Lifting Appliances
o Suspended Access Equipment’s, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, Lifting Tables, Man Riding Baskets, and Material Baskets.
o Runway Beams, Gantries, Gangways, Offshore Containers, Skids.
o Hydraulic / Pneumatic / Electric Operated Winches, Hand Powered Cranes.
o Lifting Beams, Plate Clamps, Vacuum Lifters, Lifting Magnets, Lifting Forks, Clamps.
o Car Lifts, Material handling equipment’s, Earthmoving machineries,
• In line with British Standards, ISO, LOLER, PUWER, ILO and DAC regulations.
• Conducting NDT Inspections (MPT and PT) as and when required.
• Preparation of procedures and method statements for different inspection.
• Assessment of operators of various lifting equipment’s and earthmoving machineries.
• Review of plans, method of statements, risk assessments and procedures for critical heavy lifts as per client request.
• Assist in preparing and developing detailed lifting plans as and when required.
• Implementation of the Project Quality Plan.
• Arrange and coordinate internal audits.
• Organizing testing and submission of test documentation as specified.
• Liaise and assist Supervisors in the QA document presentation.
• Close of Corrective Actions and implement actions of preventive measure.
• Safety and Environment
• Minimize impact on local environment e.g., implementing controls for waste management, pollution control, flora and fauna conservation.
• Lead by example and attend and actively participate in HSE Meetings on the project.
• Cease any identified at risk behaviors or situations and report them to the immediate responsible Supervisor for rectification.
• Actively participate in the Audit and Inspection processes.
• Inspect incoming raw material to insure that all products meet quality requirements.
• Visual inspection as required to meet engineering and specification requirements.
• Ensure conformance that all parts are as specified in the purchase order.
• Inspect products for proper clean up and finish as required.
• Inspect visually for defects, handling, clean up and general appearance.
• Inspect for compliance with blue print or inspection requirements.
• Maintain environment in a tidy and safe state.
• Report to Quality Control Engineer.
