Platform:
To implement the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), the technology used will use an end-to-end suite of Oracle Products. RDBMS and Metadata repository (Oracle 11g database, Oracle Real Application Clustering, Oracle Partitioning, Oracle Tuning Pack, Oracle Diagnostic Pack), Information Gateway and Portal (Oracle Internet Application Server), Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) tool (Oracle Data Integration), On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) analytics (Oracle OLAP), Data Mining (Oracle Data Mining), Front-end reporting and querying (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (EE)).
• Install, configure and maintain the Production, Testing and Development Environment in Data Centre as well as DR site.
• Building the physical architecture of Enterprise Data Warehouse in Bangladesh Bank.
• Install/maintain three (3) node Oracle RAC 11g ASM on AIX, Cluster ware, Application Server, Oracle Business Intelligence BIEE, Oracle Data Integrator ODI, Oracle Warehouse Builder and Data Guard.
• Lead the Database Team and bridging the project status with the Project Manager as well as client.
• Support the ETL (extract, transformation & Loading) developer team regarding various database issues.
• Designs, implements and tunes database schemas.
• Monitors warehouse performance and conducts performance testing and tuning.
• Formulates backup (RMAN), security and implementation strategies.
• Performs Operating System (IBM AIX 5.3L) administration and all related configuration changes.

• DR setup using SAN Synchronizing Software with 2 Node RAC.
