• Responsible for ensuring the quality of work is carried out as per the Specifications and client requirements.
• Ensuring that the work is being carried out in Coordination with other disciplines.
• Responsible for managing and Supervision of ongoing civil works in strict adherence with budget and cost
• Responsible for Approval and checking of materials, Method Statements and shop drawings in compliance with the project Specifications.
• Ensuring all the civil & Infrastructural work is being carried out in compliance with the specification and Quality standards.
• Mitigation of risk and their identification in accordance with the processes and knowledge areas as per PMI standards to minimize the risk and to ensure timely completion of the project along with adherence to the budget.
• Responsible for evaluation of Variation & Cost saving works along with managing any Change request
• Use project management tools in order to monitor and control the project and to prepare the project status report.
• Keeping the Resident Engineer fully informed about the progress and quality of ongoing works.
• Conduct daily Site Visits and site walkthrough to review the quality & progress of the work.
• Issue Site Observation Reports (SORs) & Non Conformation Reports (NCRs)
• Responding to RFIs in coordination with the Resident Engineer
• Review and certification of progress payments of Contractor.
• Obtain and review samples /quotations and prepare Request for proposal (RFP) as required.
• Prepare reports /recommendations, and coordinate with other disciplines and liaison with Statutory Authorities.
• Ensuring the work is being carried out as per Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.
• Attend site meetings & follow-up/monitor Civil related issues and provide inputs on progress report.
• Verify the accuracy of the contractor’s “As-Built” drawings and arrange handing over.
• Reports to the Resident Engineer
• Daily inspections of the works
• Preparation of Delay Reports from the contractor
• Respond to Contractors inspection notifications & RFI’s
• Monitoring of progress and quality of on going work.
• Material Inspections
• Check for the submitted Shop Drawings, Material Submittals & Method Statement
• Issue Site Observation & Site Instructions
• Issue Non Conformation Reports
• Record contractors progress and resources
• Attend meetings with client & contractor
• Estimation of quantities and their indentations.
• Well versed with ERP system.
• Quantity surveying & billing.
• Preparation of PROJECT ANALYSIS REPORT which deals with manpower availability and their utilization, Plant & Machinery efficiency, Resource utilization etc.
• Project time cycle analysis.
• Preparation of Work Break down Structure, Progress measurement and Cost estimation.
• Preparation of S-Curve and to develop manpower Histogram
• Resource allocation and Resource leveling.
• Project Monitoring i.e. keeping an eye over the entire progress of work as per schedule, if not
then identifying the reasons of hindrance and conveying the same to the Project-in-charge.
• Preparation of Daily progress report (D.P.R) & Monthly progress report and conveying the same to the Head Office.
• Preparing Minutes of Meeting (MOM) internal as well as with client.
• Develop and make a formal presentation regarding ongoing status of the project.
