Leading the team to achieve the broiler sector objectives through increasing productivity, effectiveness and efficiency in addition to keeping the quality standards required by our customers and interested parties to ensure business sustainability. Enhancement of ownership, team-work and collaboration with other departments is essential to our success.

This job role leads quality team to work on achieving sector quality objectives and customer satisfaction in addition to ensuring that production processes are implemented according to the SOP and also the role extends to work with the OSH to control the labor safety through a designed programs and planned inspections to avoid accidents. Also the quality of suppliers have got a special importance in the quality policy of the broiler sector.

Objective:
Optimization and improvement of broiler farm performance and efficiency to increase productivity that help achieving customer satisfaction targets and increasing both short term and long term profits through quality planning, quality control and quality improvement .Follow up and improvement of all biosecurity related activities.
Tasks:
-Recruiting, training and supervising quality control staff
-Planning quality control inspection schedules
-Develop and implement quality control system
-Coaching and monitoring quality control team
-Statistical analysis of Nobareya broiler farms data.
-Measuring and improving Customer Satisfaction levels for each farm .
-Reporting on broiler farms performance and measure it against set standards.
-Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel of the Nobareya broiler sector.
-Coordinate quality objectives with other managers and section heads.
-Cope with and disseminate sector strategy and objectives among quality control team individuals
-Development and applying scoring system to assess quality of performance of broiler farms and improve performance quality especially at critical phases of rearing cycle.
-Address quality problems as early as possible.
-Monitoring and reporting on quality issues related to maintenance and establishing plans for resolving them.
-Monitoring and improvement of all cleaning and sanitation processes outside and inside farms .
-Traffic control of all internal or external visitors, vehicles, equipment and material to ensure commitment to biosecurity rules.
-Managing cleaning and disinfection tools.
-Support top management decision making .
• Follow up of all processes that occur inside and outside broiler sector to obtain healthy flocks with suitable weight for marketing in a profitable manner for the corporation .
• Follow up of biosecurity measures at 45 broiler farms at 3 regions (Nobareya-Saf-External Farms).
• Follow up of operational processes during management of flocks.
• Follow up of veterinary care & health condition of flocks.
• Transcribing the above into reports and telling it to different sectors & helping them solving deviations at any of the above points.
• Analysis of data and giving suggestions to solve problems .
- Check for All processes that occur in Poultry Farm including Biosecurity, Receiving Chicks in Hatcheries, Rearing till Marketing to brokers & CPC slaughterhouse .My Job includes both poultry technical aspects & quality assurance aspects .
1 Monitoring of all processes of receiving chicks in broiler farm
&, chick length & crop test .
2 Measurement of chick weight and chick length just after receiving in farm .
3 Monitoring of feeding after receiving through performing crop test starts 2 hours after receiving.
4 Providers quality assurance.
5 Monitoring of bio-security and farm management measures during downtime or during rearing period .
6 Monitoring of veterinary care aspects during rearing especially vaccination, drug administration.
7 Monitoring of feeding program and weight gain.
8 Monitoring of Rodent control system
9 Performing postmortem inspection and monitoring health condition of flocks and any abnormal clinical signs.
10 Performing different measurements e.g. temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, light intensity, static pressure ...etc.
11 Applying data loggers into different farms that measure temperature and relative humidity during rearing and using thermal imager to ensure that there is no air leakage in winter and analyzing its data.
12 Analyzing of daily report data e.g. mortality, body weight ..etc.
13 Monitoring of catching process .
14 Monitoring of composting process inside farm.
15 Monitoring of integrity of equipment used inside broiler farms including refrigerators used for vaccines, fans, shutters, heaters, ice boxes, thermometers, silos, feeders, water lines, cooling pads … etc.
16 Performing Check on farm book to ensure proper documentation.
17 Monitoring workplace safety measures e.g. fire extinguisher, power cable frames, electricity keys & switch board.
18 Monitoring of transportation of chicks.
19 Performing special tasks at the slaughterhouse, breeder farms and hatcheries.
20 On-call for breeder/hatchery QC duty
1- A.M. at the Dirty Area:
- Monitoring of the waiting room temperature, cooling pads, doors should be closed.
-Antemortem examination of birds.
-Observation of the general condition of crates & substitution of broken crates with new ones to prevent re-using them.
-Measuring killing time, temperature of water of the scalding chamber, chlorination of water to decrease contamination of carcass -Follow up the unloading, hanging & killing processes to ensure welfare of birds.
-Total Condemnation of birds.
-Post-mortem examination of condemned birds.
-Monitoring of defeathering machine performance & defeathering process.
-Accurate observation, classification of total condemnation or any abnormal changes of the carcass before evisceration room.
-Observation of evisceration process to ensure complete removal of viscera, condemnation of inedible parts (lung, Intestine), condemnation of abnormal organs.
-2nd inspection point of carcasses.
-careful cleaning of reception, hanging, killing, scalding & evisceration room.
2-PM Clean Area
a-chiller
-monitoring water chiller, air chiller, 3rd inspection point for total condemnation.
-ensure chlorination of water careful cleaning after ending use of chilling room.
b-packaging area
-ensure complete cleaning of rooms
-ensure that employee work under strict hygienic measures.
-monitoring packaging process to ensure prevention of any abnormal parts, proper packaging, correct labels, stretch, clean intact packs, clean baskets with attention to colour coding of baskets (blue on the ground, small red for fresh, large red for raw materials, yellow for frozen).
-measuring temperature of raw materials & products before keeping in tunnels or refriegerators ).
-Very careful cleaning of room walls, floor, roof, instruments & machines .
-measuring temperature of fresh products & frozen products just before transportation to cars going to customers & ensure that temperature of refrigerator of the car is .
Poultry Technical follow up with poultry consultants, farmers & poultry farmers at Giza & Fayoum cities for company's poultry pharmaceuticals, vaccines & disinfectants used for poultry farms.
Promotion for products by making numerous calls for physicians, pharmacists & group meetings with distributers to help launch our new products & round table discussions with KOLs at the Area of Faisal, Haram &Giza rurals plus follow up with distriuters to concentrate upon selling more & more of our products.
working with daily visits & calls about 16 products including old products like "Rivo"sodium salicylate, New products like "Beclosone", "Candistan" ... aiming to achieve targets by A.M. activity in hospitals & polyclinics & P.M. activity with private clinic physicians & pharmacies for OTC sales & Rx sales with special care to dermatologists (Betaval cr, , betaval C, betaval S, betaval oint. & candistan cream)
Working on cash cow products all over Egypt with resident medical reps. to force those product through periodical Campaigns covering all areas working A.m., Afternoon & P.M., Launching new products e.g. cefidime (Ceftazidime), Losazide (Losartan+hydochlorothiazide) etc...
Plus making reports for evaluation of resident medical reps. performance direct to their managers for better performance.

Planning to Launch products, maximize sales, making good relations with Key Opinion Leaders for Tender Business in MOH hospitals & health insurance clinics, Target break-down with action plan to achieve targets of each quarter ... everyday you have to visit 3 hospitals or poly-clinics for A.M then 10 doctors & 5 pharamacies for increasing OTC selling & sometimes DTC selling .
Applied research about quality costs and using it in quantifying and evaluating quality performance in a monetary language then determining quality improvement projects of the higher impact to reduce the total costs of quality and the total production costs.
Co-ordination between students and professors Giving free lectures of project management ,Statistics ,Control charts ,Acceptance sampling and Quality management systems Presentations about many topics e.g. Balanced Scorecards ,KPIs ,Autonomous maintenance and TPM Graduation project about "Application of QMS ISO 9001:2015 in a broiler poultry producing company" .This project got highest grade excellent (97%)
