Job Responsibilities:
Equipment Installation and Setup: Involved in all Medical equipment’s installation, setup, and integration into the Clinical Skill and Simulation lab's workflow. This includes coordinating with vendors, configuring software and hardware settings, and ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring the proper functioning of biomedical instruments and equipment’s in the lab. This involves regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment’s.
Training and Support: Providing training and technical support to lab staff and researchers on the proper usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting of biomedical instruments. This involves creating user manuals, conducting training sessions, and addressing any technical issues that arise.
Inventory Management: Maintaining an inventory of laboratory supplies, including spare parts, consumables, and reagents necessary for operating and maintaining biomedical instruments. This includes tracking usage, ordering replacements, and optimizing inventory levels.
Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that instruments & equipment meet safety standards, Implementation.
Project Management: Planning, Controlling, Monitoring and actual execution of all equipment related works of the project, manage communication and coordination among different types of engineers, technician working on a project. Supervises project schedule, budget, other supplier company.
Job Responsibilities:
Working as Lab equipment Engineer Designing, operation controls of Labs all kind of Biomedical Engineering and Electronics laboratories instruments.
Monitoring, checking and handling of the incoming laboratory orders.
Responsible for Maintenance of laboratory Devices such as but not limited to: Installation, troubleshooting, repair, modify based on industry instructions and improve sophisticated equipment.
Evaluate device quality: Perform preventive maintenance, Calibrate, Test performance of equipment.
Spearheading activities as QA/QC Engineer
Working within provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.
Coordinates in Procurement of Equipment and Reports Analysis and maintain documentation of results.
Provide Technical Support and training for users/professors on installed equipment, handling technical & operational activities.
Coordinate for Safety Issues: Electrical, equipment, Health- safety planning and operational procedures.
Contribution and participation in service Labs development programs and projects.
Oversee College Research projects by assisting in implementation of Hardware and Software design.
