Responsible for update, revision of the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) in quality control of works and compliance to specification. Monitor the quality of materials and the material testing site laboratory and the performance of the Contractor’s personnel in the course of the project. Construction Supervision of approach road, pavement, bridge, viaduct, river training work as per specifications. Review of Contractor’s work program & work methodology and identifying the priority of project elements, basic needs and to incorporate in the scope of work. Review results of material tests and notify the contractor to remedy works and materials that fail to comply with the specifications
Regional Cooperation and Integration Project- Road in Bangladesh
• Design and construction of National Highway and Pavement including earth works, sub-base, base road crossing, heavy duty access asphalt road, light duty patrol and internal asphalt road and receiving different types of construction materials, routine test for earthworks and pavement.
• Preparation of design report and technical specifications
•Review of all Documentation, Reports including material test certificates, mix designs, trial mix reports, batch plant printouts, calibration certificates etc.
•Checking of relevant Request for Inspections with the relevant verifying documents and transmission to the Contractor 24 hours in advance of the scheduled inspection.
•Co-coordinating with client and other organizations as necessary.
•Ensuring compliance of works with applicable codes, standards and Project specifications through suitable examinations and testing.
• Checking monthly progress reports and attending weekly meeting
Al Salam Street Tunnel Project in Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Constructions supervision and quality control works for PC Girder and Beam fabrication and installation in Abu Dhabi.
• To organize the QC Inspectors, Technician for daily inspection/test.
• To check the daily RFI and get approval from Consultant.
•To review of manufacturer / company certificate for different materials and preparing submittal to consultants / Client for their approval. To monitoring and verify the materials quality according to approved MAR.
• Co-ordination with Consultants / Client, Third Party Inspection.
• To issue NCR and close out NCR after corrective action as well as response the NCR of Consultants / Client for closing out the issue.
• To face the QC audit by Consultants / Client and conduct QC audit for subcontractors.

Material/QC Engineer
Improvement of Feeder Roads Type-A Third Road Rehabilitation &
Maintenance Project
• To survey, design and supervise road as per Roads & Highways Division (RHD) Bangladesh Standard as well as inspection check list like - Earthwork, Sub-grade, Base course, Pavement, Bridge, Culvert, PSC Girder.
• To Monitoring Contractor Compliance with the requirements of the contract scope of all civil works according to approved technical specifications, quality plan & contract
documents.
• To ensure that the materials are supplied through approved supplier/Vendor only.
• To ensure that approval is taken for the concrete & asphalt job mix designs prior to the start of the asphalt & concrete activities. Test is performed for curing water, test results complying with the SA standard requirement& test result are available.
• To ensure that the tests are performed on various type of sands, fill & backfill materials. Select fill marl, base course materials etc. are complying the SA standards & project technical specification requirements & results are available prior to start of any activity involving above materials.
• To ensure that any equipment or instruments to be used by construction or third
party (Leveling, instrument, theodolite, total station, nuclear density gauge for compaction testing etc. are calibrated, have calibrations stickers on equipment).
• To conduct material receiving inspection & coordinate with client for approval.
• To coordinate with client project management team & inspection representative for
approval of any field changes, technical queries etc. Ensure that changes are correctly
reflected in the redline drawings.
•To check non-conformance report (NCR) in the event of non-compliance to IFC
drawings, approved quality plan, ITP, scope of work, & applicable engineering
standards.
• To prepare request for inspection for client inspection for completed activities.
• To review the various survey reports including test results (soil test reports, Field
density test reports, and Concrete Compressive strength (3, 7 & 28 days) test report.
• To assist Senior Material Engineer in preparation of Inspection two weeks look ahead
schedule, inspection checklists & reports.
• To prepare inspection reports, checklists for clients approval & update and maintain
the record for future references.
• To attend weekly project progress meetings, discuss the ongoing activities
Dhaka - Sylhet Road Rehabilitation and Maintenance Project (RRMP-
III, Contract No. 2A)
• Responsible for construction supervision and quality control of Road, pavements,
Bridges with Pre stressed Girder & RCC girder, Culvert, Drain, Slope protection,
Retaining wall, Cast in-situ-pile etc.
• Supervision to carry out and preparation test results of all laboratory and field test
like Mix Design of Concrete(C-35, C-30, C-25, C-20, C-10), Mix Design of Grouting, Mix
Design of ISG, Sub-base and Base Course, MDD, FDD, CBR, DCP, ACV, TFV, LAA,
Soundness of Aggregates, Flakiness and Elongation Index, Gradation of coarse and
fine aggregate, Water absorption, Sand Equivalent, Sp. gravity and Unit Wt. Atterberg
Limit, Bitumen Extraction, Bitumen Spray Rate, Flow Test, Slump test of Concrete,
Cement, Compressive Strength of Concrete and Block, Mix Design of Asphalt
Concrete by Marshal Method, Benkelman Beam Deflection etc.
• Engaged in checking the quantity of materials procurement, approval, consume and
balance status, Method Statements of various works, preparation monthly laboratory
progress report.
• Issued site instruction in the light of technical specification to contractor for
rectification of unspecified and violation works.
• Reviewed manufacturer products/materials along with certificate and provided
recommendation for approval.
• Liaison with expatriates, client for decision about some critical matter, attended
monthly progress meeting, health and safety and environment management plan
meeting and co-ordination and assistance to Resident Engineer for all concern
