As an Assistant Professor of English I teach English language and literature.
The job of coordinator is basically an additional duty to be performed along with my regular teaching tasks. Its core responsibilities include preparing academic calender, allocation of courses to different faculty members, making class schedules, setting and collecting tests, administering exams and publishing results. It also includes organizing events in the departments and solving students related problems. Counseling and mentoring weaker students are also included in this mainly voluntary professional duty.
The job involves teaching, testing and evaluation of English language skills, English literature and applied linguistics to students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

I obtained first class with the first position in the combined merit list in a graduating class of 80. I also successfully completed a graduate dissertation on approaches to teaching grammar in Bangladeshi CLT classrooms as a partial fulfillment of the requirements for this degree. This thesis helped me obtain first class and first position.
I secured the second position in the graduating class of 80 with a higher second class that helped me do the thesis components in my masters.
This is a degree earned in the second public exam held throughout the country at the same time at the end of 12 years of schooling. I obtained 75.3% marks which is also called star marks here in the traditional division system exams.
This is a degree earned in the first public exam held throughout the country at the same time at the end of 10 years of schooling. I obtained 77.7% marks which is also called star marks here in the traditional division system exams.
