We are looking for a skilled and experienced BMS Engineer to join our facilities management team. The BMS Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems used to monitor and control mechanical and electrical equipment such as ventilation, lighting, power systems, fire systems, and security systems in buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, program, and maintain BMS systems and components.
Monitor and analyze system performance and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.
Troubleshoot and repair BMS system faults or issues.
Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and vendors for system integration and support.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system status and energy usage.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols.
Train end-users or facility staff on BMS operations and best practices.
Requirements:
Diploma in Electrical, Engineering.
Proven experience with BMS systems such as Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi Electric.
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and automation.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of networking and protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
Experience with energy management and efficiency optimization.
