Unify Circle Operations - Assam and North East Circle:

Project: Unify circle operations-Assam and North East
Customer: Vodafone India Limited
Description:
Vodafone India, formerly Vodafone Essar and Hutchison Essar, a joint venture with UK-based Vodafone Group Plcis the second largest mobile network operator in India. It has approximately 140.84 million customers as of November 2011. Vodafone India provides 2.75G services based on 900 MHz and 1800 MHz digital GSM technology.

ANE circle is the most important centre of VIL in the Eastern HUB of India.
Support for all application in Postpaid and PrepaidActivation in VIL is provided at circle level as well as to all the HUB-s of Eastern region of India, which includes the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, West Bengal and North Eastern Zone.Applications include cPOS(Centralized Point of Sale) and UPSS (Unified Prepaid Support System).

Reports are provided on ad-hoc basis as required by the Clients for all applications. These helps the users in various type of reconciliations and at many times help them in forecasting the business depending on the past and current trends. This also helps them in Identifying Revenue Leakage, Monitoring Usage, Identifying Fraud Customers, Barring of Customers, high potential customers etc.
L1 and L2 support for daily operations issues. Application Calls (Tickets raised by Users) are resolved for cPOS and UPSS. Supporting the activities related to new Project Roll-Outs for the circle and New product configured.

Expertise in analyzing and translating business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with application developers.
New Product Configuration as per Marketing Team requirement/ others Team at UPSS.
New Keyword Configuration at CAD as well UPSS.
RFC and CR information providing to concern stakeholder.

Responsibility:
 Requirements Gathering
 Developing applications based on User requirements.
 Providing Customer details and Call details to circle Nodal officer who in turn provide the same to VTM cells and Security agencies.
 Regularly monitoring Rejected CDR cases, identifying the reason after analysis, and taking measures to reduce the number of rejected CDR-s.
 Implementing the best practises, this is being shared by other circles.
 Doing UAT for various new application rollouts.
 Reduction of Remedy calls &Adhoc requests.
 Providing training to the users to newly developed application at circle end as well as new roll outs.
 Number reconciliation between various IT systems and HLR

Project: TTL Hub IT Operations - North East and Assam (NESA)
Customer: Tata Teleservices Ltd.
Description: Tata Teleservices Limited is India’s leading Private Basic Telecom Service Operator. TTSL provides products and services like CDMA mobiles, Fixed Wireless & Wire line Telephony, Post Paid Internet Services, Public Booth Telephony, Walky 10, V-data card & HSIA.
NESA circle is the most important centre of TTSL in the Eastern HUB of India.

Supporting the activities related to new Project Roll-Outs for the circle.

Highlights  Prepared few scripts in Oracle which gets dumped in Local FTP server for various BU’s for specific Itemised Billing/CDR etc.
 Designed a portal for tracking employee confirmation procedure, which is used by TTSL HR.
 Designed a portal for tracking the SITE details for Network team, which helped them to track the progress of the newly acquired site.
 Reconciliation reports from both Billing and Journals for the Back-out Invoices have helped in prevention of revenue leakage.
 Reconciliation of Dels as well as VAS features between various IT systems and HLR.
 Designed and Automate different type of Feedback Mechanism for Circle FMSS Team.
 Implemented best practices at Circle.
