➢ Reviews and interpret drawings, standards, specifications and all other related engineering documents, applying familiarity with the policies, procedures and work practices and develop improvements where necessary.
➢ Demonstrate a consistent commitment to excellence in human safety, insurance, and hazard management to safeguard human life and health as well as physical property and the environment and completing all duties according to applicable safety measures and published procedures, whether it be from the company or its client.
➢ Oversee works in progress for Building maintenance activities and its conformance with QA/QC, HSE specifications and requirements, Building codes, standards and procedures including materials if it conforms to drawings specifications, methods and procedures.
➢ Study, update and develop maintenance procedures to enhance and improve such procedures as it relates to electrical equipment and components of the facility.
➢ Assign the daily activities to the technicians and ensure that daily maintenance task is completed to satisfaction of clients in terms of response, time, cost and quality.
➢ Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown/service interruption, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
➢ Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
➢ Analyse and recommend improvements to existing system to increase performance or save energy.
➢ As assigned, perform duties and develop skills that are not part of this position’s daily responsibilities to provide versatility in order to meet fluctuating demands for various types of work.
➢ Ensures all the equipment are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities.
➢ Schedule and undertake planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on all electrical equipment, components, and installations.
➢ Recommend replacement for old or faulty electrical components or fittings to the management.
➢ Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s electrical equipment.
➢ Lead in the maintenance cost reduction programs, consumables usage ensuring that they are in line with budgets.
➢ Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.
➢ Maintaining proper documentation for CM & PPM.
➢ Familiarizes with project scope of work, general requirements, applicable standards, technical specifications and project milestone schedule.
➢ Prepares work plan and implementation strategy in line with project schedule and client requirements for the assigned tasks.
➢ Checks adequacy of assigned resources (manpower, equipment, materials, tools and safety gear etc.) as required to complete the assigned tasks.
➢ Undertakes planning and scheduling of job activities, their assignment to working groups and progress monitoring on daily basis.
➢ Supervises work performed by working groups in project execution and provides guidance when needed.
➢ Ensures prompt inspections (IR), site measurements, approvals of completed work quantities and submission to concerned organizations.
➢ Proper discussion with client before starting work for proper installations and client satisfaction. Negotiate with client and consultant for obtaining approvals for requested modifications.
➢ Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and externally, to solve problems related to MEP works during development & operations.
➢ Support safety tool box lecture to enforce safety regulations for individuals on the site.
➢ Implement strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.
➢ Reduce the wastage of material and increase manpower productivity.
➢ Identifies and provides emergency needs, as and when they arise, in coordination with site manager.
➢ Coordinates with members of execution team, supervisors, safety officer and QA/QC engineer.
➢ Ensures implementation of quality control requirements, procedures and guidelines and takes corrective actions where needed.
➢ Coordinates and facilitates testing and commissioning activities.
➢ Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment and oversee the review and approval process.
➢ Prepares and submits daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
➢ Ensures all documentation, progress reports, instructions and other records are properly maintained and safeguarded at site.
➢ Assists in successful handing over and close out of the completed project tasks.
➢ Perform any other ad hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the project manager as per business requirements.

panel boards etc.
* Handling the man power
* Preparing the tool list required for particular project.
* Making sure material is available on site.
* Giving request for the materials and tools before commencement of work.
