Conducting internal audit in cross functions on effectiveness of ISO45001/2018.
Assist Safety manager in external audits and provide plans for closure of any NCR’s/OFI’s arise due to external audits.
Regular monitor of airside loading and unloading operation for meal carts.
Conduct random inspection/audit of food production floors, loading unloading bays, ware wash areas and airside operation in order to identify hazard and risks.
Organizing regular departmental safety champion meetings to convey departmental safety performance, incident trends and training analysis.
Investigate the adequacy of ventilation, lightning, noise, exhaust equipment and other conditions that could affect employee health, comfort or performance.
Regularly monitor the condition of fire emergency equipment and installations and advise the Safety Manager accordingly to ensure as such the integrity and reliability of EKFC fire prevention and protection systems.
Lead investigation with the relevant department involving injury to EKFC employees, contractors, visitors, and aircraft damage incident.
Attend Health and Safety Departmental Committee meetings and monitor the effectiveness of remedial measures adopted to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, EKFC safety policies and procedures and where necessary enforce compliance so as to ensure continuous improvement of workplace health and safety.
Designing & conducting safety training program to ensure employees are provided with the necessary knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively, deliver safety training program in conjunction with the Training Department.

The purpose of my role is to oversee the implementation of Health and Safety internal policies, procedures and
processes in two colleges & one school campuses, in coordination with facilities management and site team.

Providing support to the Project Management teams to manage the day-to-day safety requirements of Facilities
Management projects on campus

 Performing regular safety inspections of campus facilities, systems, and equipment, including first-aid rooms, construction areas, electrical systems, and fire extinguishers to ensure compliance with international standards, governmental regulations and internal Health and Safety policies, procedures and processes

Managing hygiene safety, DM food safety requirements for campus canteens in coordination with the food
catering company.

Managing and coordinating the investigation of campus Health and Safety incidents to determine their root cause and provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrence

Implementing fire evacuation procedures (including exit doors, fire hose location, escape routes and assembly
point) and lock down the procedure for the campus, and oversee periodical emergency evacuation and lock down
drills on campus

Developing awareness sessions including occupational safety workshops and training sessions as part of the
Health and Safety awareness plan, to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures with the campus.

Implementing company H&S Policy across KSA region which include 80 Retail stores & 3 warehouses.

Conducting risk assessments across the region.

Conducting internal audits.

Conducting internal training's for retail staff and area managers.

Visiting all the stores and warehouse to ensure compliance on company H&S policy.

Liaison with facilities management for effective preventive maintenance of fire safety equipment around the region.

Coordinating with Project team to implement H&S requirement in design stage for new stores.

Arranging external training for employees.

Coordinating insurance survey and ensuring closure of findings.

The main purpose of my role was to provide advice and assistance to all persons for Health, Safety and
Environmental issues on site which include residential villas, campus buildings, primary/secondary school, football stadium and other recreational facilities;

Ensure that effective risk assessment processes are in place for all the site’s activities, including general risk assessments, COSHH, Manual Handling, Noise, DSE, and other statutory requirements.

Maintain the company’s registration to OHSAS 18001/2007.

Maintaining Internal Audit systems and completing internal Audits and corrective actions as required.

Ensure effective systems are in place to assess the site’s Environmental Aspects and controls, including environmental monitoring, e.g. discharges, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, Permit.

Provide effective systems for reporting and investigating accidents, dangerous occurrences, near misses and occupational ill-health.

Ensure compliance with statutory Health Safety and Environmental requirements and implementing effective preventative or corrective actions

Liaise with companies insures or assessors for investigations or site assessments.

Monitor arrangements for inspection and testing of facilities and equipment, e.g. pressure systems, LEV, lifting equipment, in accordance with insurance and statutory requirements

Implement and test arrangements for emergency response - e.g., fire Marshalls, fire drills, spill response, first aider provision.

Arrange and participate in any identified training where required.

Regularly review and report on HSE matters, including progress on improvement plans, safety, and environmental incidents and trends, updates on legislation and requirements relevant to the site’s activities

Plan and Implement OHSAS 18001/2007 and Unilever FWS standards.

Coordinate Safety Health and Environmental activities. Assist Management in SHE matters.

Ensure that all Incidents are promptly reported and investigated according to the set procedures. Recommend and define actions to prevent reoccurrence and assign responsible persons to take the actions within the agreed time scale.

Carry out an immediate investigation of all high potential incidents / accidents, including near misses and ensure immediate action plans in place and progressed to prevent re-occurrence.

Maintain an up-to-date file of Incidents and Hazards reports. Make follow up of agreed actions and update progress.
 Produce “Monthly Statistics” report, submitting them on time to become part of the monthly Performance Review report including figures needed in corporate and regional safety performance monitoring.

Carry out, or assist with audits, as required. Assist in ensuring all safety related items/systems are kept fully functional.

Advise / enforce proper and timely use of all personal protective equipment to all employees and personnel if necessary.

Assist with preparation and the presentation of safety training programs. Conduct training to all staff related to Safety as per schedule.
 Coordinate the training and general activities of Emergency Plan Procedures and Health and Safety Induction for all new employees.

Implement SHE related projects raised from risk assessment, safety audits, hazard reports and incident investigation if appropriate and assist others as appropriate with the implementation of safety related projects and monitor progress.

Develop SHE procedures and make timely update as a result from any changes of processes and operations or for improvement.

Manage to implement site SHE related programs: - e.g. Hazard Reporting, Planned Inspection, and PTW System.

Ensure that monitoring system is in place and communicate KPI to management.

With assistance of SHE team arrange and conduct Emergency Mock drills for all possible emergencies to happen in the site. Prepare brief report after each drill regarding results and possible points for improvement.

Coordinate all corporate, regional and global Safety Standards requirements to site management team and work out its implementation.

Ensure a yearly review meeting to discuss SHE performance and improvement plans. Review and update action plans for the each preceding year.

Ensure 100% efficiency of all Fire Fighting equipment. Raise CEP for any updates or changes of any civil defense requirements related to fire safety in site.

Carry out updates of all records and documents related to OHSAS system as result of any internal and surveillance audits (twice a year at least) in maintaining the sites IMS.

Plan and Implement Safe Travel program.

Coordinated USLP agenda across different Unilever sites.

Develop relationship with Government bodies and Key customers for Environmental agenda awareness programs.

· To quantitatively and qualitatively identify and analyze all potential risks/ hazards present.
· To conduct HSE audits.
· To provide HSE induction to new joiners.
· To assist HSE Manager in the development, approval and implementation of HSE SOPs based on Risks/ hazards present.
· To supervise the investigation of accidents near misses and unsafe working conditions, maintain all related records, generate periodical reports on the same.
· To ensure safety equipments like Fire extinguishers, Water Hose reel etc… along with first aid boxes with the required items are made available as needed and are maintained in good working condition and within the validity period.
· To conduct training sessions for all levels of employees.
To inspect machinery and equipment, such as lifting and moving devices, etc.
